“Studio 151 is one of those rare places that feels like a true discovery. Tucked just up a single staircase, it’s easy to miss, and that’s part of what makes it so special. The unassuming entrance gives way to a warm, intimate space with dim lighting, a record player spinning in the background, and a fully stocked bar turning out genuinely excellent cocktails. It strikes that perfect balance between cozy and quietly stylish, making it an ideal date night spot. We went at 6:45 on a Thursday, and the atmosphere was exactly what we were hoping for: relaxed, uncrowded, and perfect for conversation. It felt like we had stumbled onto a secret. The staff only added to that feeling, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. A special shoutout to our favorite waitress, Dusty, who was warm, lovely, and made the whole experience feel personal without ever being overbearing. The omakase was the highlight of the night. Every piece was incredibly fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and honestly more delicious than I had imagined going in. You can tell there’s real care behind each course, and it elevates the entire experience beyond just a meal. Studio 151 is the kind of place you almost don’t want to tell people about, but it’s too good not to share. A perfect spot to sneak away for an intimate dinner, enjoy amazing food and drinks, and actually hear each other talk. We’re already looking forward to going back again soon.”

“It was pretty much what I expected but a little worse. The space is aesthetically nice and the DJ spinning jazz is a nice touch of atmosphere. The nigiri is actually pretty decent and the hand rolls are fun and tasty. The service however, is not only sub par but wholly negligent. Our server mismanaged a dietary restriction and my friend got sick. She clearly stated she was gluten free but they must have used soy sauce in the hand rolls anyway because she is paying the price the next day. All in all the experience wasn’t terrible but should have been half the price! The guys at the omakase counter looked like they were having a good time. Maybe that’s the only way to make this place worthwhile.”

“**Warning**I feel compelled to share it. We stopped in for a beer each and our bill came to about $33. We later realized that an automatic 20% gratuity had already been added to the check, which was fine. However, not noticing it at first, we also added an additional $5 tip. When we realized the mistake, we politely asked if the extra tip could be removed. The bartender simply responded, "No." I then spoke with another bartender, who also said it could not be removed and followed up by saying, "If you want to get drunk, I'll give you two shots." I found that comment completely inappropriate and unprofessional. At no point did we ask for free drinks, shots, or anything beyond correcting an accidental overpayment. The interaction was dismissive, unpleasant, and left a very negative impression. Mistakes happen, but customer service and professionalism matter. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of expectations.”
