“Had such an incredible meal here a couple weeks ago and still thinking about it. Service was fantastic and the atmosphere was lovely, the right ambiance for any kind of dinner. Food was outstanding. The standout for me was the miso baba ghanoush, I haven't gotten over it yet. Outrageous and hit so many taste buds in perfect harmony. Pitas are to die for, so soft and tender and yummy. Other dishes worth noting: short rib hummus, falafel gougeres, duck fat potatoes, lamb shank shawarma. We ordered the tiger prawns but frankly could have done without. Asked the server for a recommendation on the Lebanese gins, and the martini was so lovely. Looking forward to finding a many reasons to return.”
“Not sure why it's taken me so long to check out this place but I'm glad I finally did! I popped in for a weekday lunch with a friend. Sadly, neither of us were that hungry so we only tried the mission fig bread, the beets & berries and the falafel. The mission fig bread is truly a bread dish - tasty but I found myself wanting more "topping" compared to bread. The beets were good and the falafel was a delicious surprise, with the inside not like the falafel I'm used to. I'm looking forward to returning and trying more menu items. There are individual sandwiches on the menu but it feels more like a place to share plates. We made a reservation but it wasn't needed. Service was friendly.”
“Fantastic food and experience! The lamb shanks were incredibly tender and full of flavor—one of the best I’ve had. The mushrooms hummus was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. Every dish was beautifully prepared and served hot and fresh. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. I left completely satisfied and already excited to come back. Highly recommend.”
“Fantastic Middle Eastern restaurant on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn. I'm not usually a big fan of small plate spots but this was an exception. The dishes were fresh and dripping in flavor; definitely try the Short Rib Shawarma Hummus and the Duck Fat Batata Harra”
“I have been meaning to visit Boutros for quite some time, and I am so glad I finally made it in for brunch today. This Lebanese gem definitely lived up to the wait. We ordered the Shakshuka with Soujouk and the Pistachio Challah French Toast. While I typically lean toward savory options for brunch, the French toast was impossible to resist—and I’m so glad I ordered it. It was absolutely delicious and a standout of the meal. The Shakshuka was equally impressive, perfectly seasoned and satisfying. Even on a weekday, the restaurant had a wonderful energy. You might expect a quiet room mid-week, but the space was pleasantly active with several tables filled, which speaks to its local popularity. The service was lovely and attentive, rounding out a fantastic experience. If you’ve been putting off a visit like I was, consider this your sign to go!”
