“I was exploring Murray Hill neighbourhood in New York and I walked into Freehand Hotel to look in the lobby and saw a sign that said Rooftop Patio, the front desk staff said the entrance is outside at the side of the building, it was a cool setup to go up in an old elevator. Once I got up to the rooftop the atmosphere was super cool, great views and the vibe was amazing! FOOD: Dips and spreads DRINK: Prosecco Delicious!”
“Of course, here's the revised review with all em dashes removed: --- I'm only reviewing based on my experience going there at 5pm on a Tuesday. I had read some reviews saying it gets too crowded, but that wasn’t the case during my visit. I walked in and got a seat at the bar immediately, and there was also plenty of seating available on the beautiful outdoor patio. The vibe was relaxed and not too loud, which made it a great happy hour spot. The happy hour deals (from 4 to 6pm daily) are excellent. Cocktails were really well-balanced, not too sweet, and fairly priced for NYC. Guac and chips and burger were both excellent!! Service was great too. Friendly, quick, and easygoing. Overall, it was a really pleasant experience. I’d definitely come back again, especially during that sweet spot before the after-work rush hits.”
“Really fun bar. Service isn't bad at all in my opinion. This place can get busy at night and the staff seem to handle it well. Just got drinks before heading to another restaurant, and the drinks were great!”
“New York is full of quality rooftop bars and Broken Shaker is certainly one of them. Solid cocktails and small plates if you're so inclined. Speakeasy it in on 24th then it's just an elevator ride 18 stories up.”
“Decent place to get a drink, to many wires to get decent photos … average rooftop in our opinion nothing that makes you say I gotta go there again.”
