“Came here for a dinner for 4. The final check was 242 dollars (before tip), and we split it three way. While it definitely left a hole in my bank account, it is my fault for not being aware of these prices. The food, incredible. Truly some of the best steak I have ever tasted. The salad was a little underwhelming, but that was quickly forgotten by the assembly of Argentinian meats. The service was quick to get us a table in our desired spot, and the food came very quick. The host was very kind and thoughtful. If aware of the steep price before coming, would highly recommend.”
“Took a flyer and picked this place because it had good reviews, served steak, and wasn't a fancy schmancy place; basically, all my criteria. From the moment I walked in, I felt like family. Seriously. Everyone had worked there for years and years, and I think at some point I met each and every one of them. The owner came by to check in, but it wasn't intrusive at all... more like your Pops swinging by your table to see if ya need anything. I went solely for the beef, and got the grilled blood sausage and the 30oz. Bone-In Loin Strip. Dry aged. Cooked perfectly Medium Rare. That was a legendary piece of meat, and it'll be brought up in many conversations down the road. This place is a gem. Support it. You'll have a great time, I promise.”
“This has quickly become my favourite restaurant in NYC! They take such good care of their guests and the steak is always cooked to perfection. You really can’t go wrong with the menu or wine list. 10/10. Must go!!!”
“I visited last Friday for a company celebration lunch. We had the entire back room, which felt like a private oasis. The service was absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere was "victorious" (think Argentina)—you’ll understand exactly what I mean once you visit. Because we were a large group, the food took a bit longer than expected, and my steak had cooled down by the time it arrived. However, the Pollo Organico al Champignon was delicious; my coworkers saw it and immediately had "order envy." I suspect if you come in a smaller group of 2 or 4, the steak would be perfect. Overall, a great experience. Go Messi!”
“I’ve been here several times and always enjoyed it, great food, great service, no complaints there. But on my last visit, I was surprised at how much the prices have jumped. I ordered a milanesa with French fries and a Sprite, and the bill came out to almost $56, Fries alone were listed at $12, which honestly feels a bit much and excessive. I get that it’s Manhattan, but come on, it’s the Lower East Side, not Times Square. The quality and service are still solid, but at those prices, I’ll have to think twice before coming back. Might start exploring other spots in the area next time.”
