Housed in a landmark building that dates back to the 1800s, Estancia 460 is distinctly TriBeCa: white-washed brick walls, original hardwood floors, and high ceilings set the scene. The food is Argentinian, with Italian and Spanish influence, as in thin crust pizzas, sizzling shrimp, and the Parrillada—a mixture of grilled meats. It’s hearty and unpretentious, and the team knows their Malbecs. On warmer days, dine al fresco on an original loading dock from the warehouse days or the roadside seating.
“My roommate is Argentinian and the rest of us are Korean so she took us to Estancia 460. It was our first time having Argentinian food and it was AMAZING. We ordered the fried calamari, Milanesa napolitana, and the parillada for 2. I’d say it was a lot of food for 4 girls but very tasty. I personally loved the parillada and fried calamari. We also had the crepes for dessert; it was warm and soft and sweet and delicious.”
“Stumbled into this place with some friends, and had an incredible time. Great atmosphere. Good wine. All of the staff were very kind and helpful. This was my first time at an Argentinian restaurant and I loved it. The flavors were familiar, while remaining distinct. If you’re a fan of Iberian cuisine this place will definitely give you a similar flavor profile with a few added twists. I’ll definitely go back at some point to try all of the things I wanted to get but couldn’t possibly have eaten in one sitting.”
“We rather accidentally came to this place on a Saturday afternoon at 5 p.m. It was almost empty, so we were a bit sceptical. But not for long: the staff were very welcoming, the drinks amazing and the food absolutely delicious. Half an hour later, the restaurant was full and the ambience very relaxed. We really enjoyed everything about Estancia 460!”
“Came for a happy hour around 4pm on a Friday and the place wasn’t crowded at all, and I like that. My friend and I plopped ourselves at the bar. Our bartender was very attentive and just happy to be there. That’s a great thing these days when it comes to customer service, at least this is what I noticed living here in NYC. My friend ordered empanada and I ordered their grilled vegetables. I had a glass of Sauvignon blanc and he a plain Casamigo soda. U know that they used the freshest vegetables because I know they only used olive oil and some salt and pepper but the dish really tasted amazing. I actually forgot to take photos lol. I will definitely come back. If you’re looking for a quaint white place to dine in, this Argentinian inspired restaurant didn’t disappoint.”
“The outdoor space is really cute. Cute spot for a drink and people watching in the summer, or a good date spot! Ordered calamari, medium rare rib eyes. The calamari — 6/10. Wasn’t really crispy and too soggy/oily for my preference. The ribeye steak — 8.5/10. Could’ve been a little rarer, a little too well done for my taste. Chimmichurri sauce has the perfect level of spice and goes well with the steak. The Cappucino — 11/10. was really good. One of the best cappucinos I’ve had in a while.”
