“The kosher version of a 1950’s Italian supper club. Waiters in white suits cater to your every question & need (4 different waiters checked in on our table). Decor is open-hall old fashioned wood paneling, mirrors, and wall art (very classical vibe). A security guard opens the door for you at the sidewalk (you can barely find this restaurant on the street, because the storefront is so non-descript, and you need to squint hard to even find the name of the restaurant). Food is clearly made with care & doesn’t disappoint (only exception was the French fries, which were unusually dry & lacking taste). The focaccia bread basket they give you feels like a meal in itself (thickest, richest focaccia I’ve ever had). Prices are definitely elevated, but you’re getting served a different product here (it’s not your typical kosher restaurant). Not recommended to bring kids here. Menu is tiny (approx 30 items in total). Seating for approx 150 people. Reservations are highly reccomended (on a Tuesday night, the place was packed). Parking is difficult in this residential neighborhood.”
“I recently dined at Restaurant Castell’s and had a fantastic experience. The food was truly excellent – every dish was flavorful, well-presented, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. What made the evening even more special was the service, especially at the bar. A very big thank you to Giulia Rodriguez, who took such great care of us. She prepared excellent drinks for the adults and, most importantly, made sure the kids had excellent soft drinks as well. It’s rare to see someone pay that much attention to younger guests, and Giulia did it with a warm smile and professionalism. If you’re looking for delicious food and top-notch hospitality, definitely visit Restaurant Castell’s. We’ll be back!”
“We were privileged to visit Castell's restaurant last night. It was a truly wonderful experience, from the first step inside. The unassuming facade hides an old world ambience inside. Walking down the entry hall you are transported to a large room tastefully appointed with beautiful murals, luxury chairs, and a bar that spans an entire wall. The wait staff are plentiful yet unobtrusive. We began with delicious focaccia bread with high quality herb infused olive oil. I thoroughly enjoyed the tuna carpaccio. The eggplant parmesean was both crispy and creamy, making it easily the best I have ever had. The zucchini topped pizza was a delight that can not be missed. I did not taste the onion soup but my family was very impressed. I ordered the sole almondine with spinach on the side. It was delicious and perfectly cooked. I paired it with a young Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand which was crisp and vibrant with complex fruit notes. It was an excellent pairing, suggested by our server. Brown butter ravioli with jammy soft egg was topped with freshly shaved white truffle. That was next level outstanding. The portions were so plentiful that I could not possibly finish them . I am trying to think of something constructive to suggest to add to this experience but this is as close to perfection as I have ever experienced. I heartily encourage everyone to give this a try . You will not be disappointed .”
“We felt like royalty! Our bartender was fantastic - creative, professional, and attentive. He whipped up amazing cocktails and helped us navigate the menu with ease. The service was top-notch, and we'd definitely recommend stopping by!”
“This place is overrated as heck. I made a reservation in advance, ask for the side room because the main room is like a pesach program - way too many ppl, no space to go to the bathroom The service was good and the ambience was nice. But the but the best thing in the restaurant was the style of the dishes. The food was ich I got spicy vodka pasta- pasta was hard Pizza was ehh Fries were ok Lemonana was yum but was such a tiny portion like a four year old, mostly ice Cheesecake with the blueberry was good but the gelato ice cream tasted like frozen whip cream with cocoa powder Overall, nice place to visit but not for food”
