“I had my birthday dinner here and every dish was delicious. We went with the pairing menu which was tasty. I anticipate coming back when we revisit Chicago.”
“We had a great experience! Every course was delicious on the chefs tasting menu, with standouts like the pancetta crostini (incredible flavors), croquettes, and the artisan pizza with truffle honey drizzle. Amelia, our server, was wonderful and made the evening even more enjoyable. We were lucky enough to sit outside on a beautiful end-of-summer evening. Highly recommend!”
“We went for Restaurant week. The hostess was lovely and service was very good. We had the 60.00 menu and the only 2 dishes we didnt care for were the shrimp and the chicken. The chicken was dry..the sauce was delicious. The shrimp was underwhelming. We will be back as the over all experience was lovely.”
“Came to Nia during Restaurant Week with a 5pm reservation and we were seated right away. Unfortunately, service was inconsistent. We were told it wouldn’t be a problem to modify dishes for our vegetarian friend, yet she was served non vegetarian items twice: first the soup then a chicken dish. The food was overall good. The croquettes and hummus were the highlight. The soup looked better than it tasted, and the chicken and salad were fine. The churro was disappointing (too doughy and not fresh) and even though we asked for the berry sauce on the side, it came out poured all over it. As the restaurant got busier, it felt understaffed. It took a long time to get our bill, which already included gratuity. Overall, an average experience.”
“We visited during Restaurant Week, and the experience felt a bit uneven. Service had some hiccups, with dishes arriving out of order and little explanation of what was being served which made the pacing confusing. Flavor-wise, a few dishes were enjoyable (the pancetta crostini was delicious) but much of the meal lacked standout flavor. Overall, it was an okay experience for the price.”
