“Had a wonderful Cinco De Mayo here. Their happy hour specials were fantastic. Our food and drinks came promptly and everything was delicious.”
“Love the food and vibes our hostess was the best !!! Drinks really strong ❤️”
“Great tacos and big nachos appetizer. Margaritas too are good. Happy hour is underrated.”
“After living in the Upper East Side for two years, we finally stopped into Conmigo for an early Saturday lunch, and we’ll 100% be back. Everything we ordered was fantastic. We had the Barbacoa, Carnitas, Baja Fish, and Shrimp Tacos, plus the tortilla soup and guacamole and chips. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The drinks were just as impressive, the strawberry margarita and pineapple margarita were both refreshing and delicious without being overly sweet. Great food, vibe, and service. So glad we finally tried this place! Highly recommend.”
“The food at Con Amigo was lovely, but unfortunately the overall experience was let down by a few things. The biggest issue was the music volume. It was extremely loud throughout our meal—so loud that we struggled to hear each other across the table, and at times even had difficulty hearing the server. We had come out specifically to spend time with family we hadn’t seen in a long time, but the noise made it nearly impossible to have a proper conversation. It actually gave me a headache by the end of the evening. We asked two or three times if the music could be turned down, but nothing changed. We were eventually told that the volume was already as low as the manager could set it, which was surprising given how loud it still was. The only alternative offered was moving to the bar area, which wouldn’t have solved the problem as we still wouldn’t have been able to comfortably talk to each other. Another disappointment was the Taco Tuesday promotion. We had expected to avail of the deal in the restaurant, only to find out that it was only available online. This wasn’t made particularly clear and was frustrating when we had specifically chosen to dine there on a Tuesday. It’s a shame because the food itself was genuinely very good, but dining out is about more than just the food. Between the excessive noise and the confusion around the Taco Tuesday deal, what should have been an enjoyable family meal ended up being a disappointing experience.”
