“We came here to celebrate a friends 30th birthday and it did not disappoint. From the unique cocktails, the delicious food (surprisingly, because at times you’re just paying for the view) and the service Jesse N. provided us our entire visit there. It’s worth the buck for a guaranteed good time!”
“What a memorable evening! I visited solo hoping to catch the moonrise, and the staff made the experience truly special. A huge thank you to Noel, my server and the hostesses, who went above and beyond to help me find the perfect view. Their kindness and genuine excitement made me feel so welcome. The cocktails were strong, creative, and expertly crafted, and the food was absolutely delicious. Between the incredible views, amazing hospitality, and great food and drinks, this was an experience I won’t forget. Highly recommend!”
“📍Location: Dear Irving 310 W 40th St, New York 10018 Welcome to the first real bite of Stueatseverything. I’m still figuring out what this becomes whether it lives as clean photos and polished notes, or something a little more personal, a little more raw. But if there’s one thing I know, it’s this: good food and a well-made drink deserve to be talked about properly. Yesterday, after putting in miles at the New York International Auto Show…feet shot, senses fried…we went looking for something simple on paper but rare in execution: a place with a view, a proper bar, and food that doesn’t feel like an afterthought. We found it 40 floors up. Dear Irving on Hudson doesn’t announce itself loudly. You walk into what feels like just another hotel lobby, until you’re quietly ushered into an elevator that opens into something else entirely dim light, polished brass, velvet tones, and a skyline that reminds you exactly where you are. The space feels like it exists somewhere between decades… part mid-century cocktail den, part old New York fever dream, with just enough modern edge to keep it from becoming costume. We started with drinks because that’s always the right place to start. The Juneau Bloom leaned delicate and intentional. Kyoto dry gin layered with herbal and floral notes, softened by cherry blossom vermouth. Clean, refreshing, and exactly what you want after a long day on your feet. Somewhere Over the Andes went the other direction pisco forward, bright with citrus, rounded out by amaro and orgeat. Balanced in a way that makes you forget how quickly it disappears. Dangerous, in the best way. Food here isn’t trying to steal the show but it holds its ground. Wagyu sliders with pancetta, rich without being overworked, paired with thick-cut fries and a samurai sauce that does exactly what it should: keep you reaching back in without thinking about it. Second round, we shifted gears. Thunder Island which was rum, pineapple, spice, cider, felt like something built for colder nights, but still played well in the moment. There’s a warmth to it that sneaks up on you, familiar and a little nostalgic. Not a single miss across the table. And that matters. But the thing that stuck with me wasn’t just the drinks or the food it was the feeling. Sitting there, looking out over the Hudson, with a view that quietly pulls you out of your own head for a minute. For us, it hit close to home… a reminder of another New York moment that meant everything. That’s the difference between a place you visit and a place you remember. Dear Irving on Hudson gets that right. Perfect for a date, a night with friends, or just a well-earned drink somewhere above the noise. Good cocktails, thoughtful bites, and a view that does most of the talking. We’ll be back. Thank you Dear Irving. Cheers 🥂 - Stu”
“Simply amazing. My partner and I reunited in NYC and had our first date in years at Dear Irving on Hudson, seated by the window, which made the night feel extra special. It was our first time there, and Jesús gave thoughtful recommendations tailored to what we like. The cocktails were excellent (I had the matcha one and the lychee one), and the service and ambiance were truly top-notch. We even received complimentary drinks at the end of the night. It was also quiet enough to actually talk and enjoy each other’s company, no shouting over the room. We’re already talking about coming back. Thank you for the wonderful service, Jesús!”
“Wow, this place is incredible. The views are breathtaking. Our waiter Jesus was so kind to explained me all the drinks so much acknowledge and he was great. We got also tuna crispy rice and it was so good and we got four drinks that was one tequila, strawberry, one pineapple strawberry that the bartender made for me and the other two was Nonna soprano, and kapas treasure! It was all delicious. We will definitely come back. we were celebrating our anniversary and they gave us complementary drinks.
