“Hudson VU Rooftop Bar was absolutely breathtaking 🌇✨ We didn’t stay at the hotel, but visited the rooftop bar and it was honestly one of the most beautiful sunset experiences in New York. We enjoyed a few cocktails and the s’mores dessert while watching the sun go down over Manhattan and the Hudson River. The view was stunning and felt almost unreal at golden hour. Definitely recommend making a reservation in advance and requesting a table with a view for sunset - it’s 100% worth it to get that perfect spot overlooking the skyline. It did get a bit chilly once the sun had set, but we moved inside afterwards and the atmosphere there was just as lovely, still with great views from everywhere. Overall, a magical evening with incredible views, great drinks, and surprisingly fair prices for the location. Would absolutely go again 🌆✨”

“A beautiful rooftop bar and restaurant. This was my second time there. It's pricey but worth it! The cocktails are interesting and can be made to your liking!!! We started outside. The views of Manhattan/Hell's Kitchen/the Hudson River are beautiful. There's plenty of room to move around. We moved inside as it got chilly. The fiod is consistently delicious!!!!! A good time was had by all. Visually stunning place.”

“My friend and I are visiting from Australia and staying at Ink 48, and we decided last minute to dine upstairs at the rooftop restaurant Hudson Vu and wow, we are so glad we did! From the moment we arrived, everything about the experience was exceptional. The view of New York was spectacular! Our waitress Sofia was absolutely wonderful. So warm, attentive, and full of great energy. We loved her personality and really appreciated her menu recommendations, which were spot on. The food was incredible. The smoked mushroom croquettes, tuna tartare, and tempura shrimp were all standouts. Every dish was packed with flavour and beautifully prepared. And we couldn’t leave without trying the chocolate gateaux for dessert… which was just as amazing as everything else! Truly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in New York so far! A huge thank you to Sofia for making our night so special. We will absolutely be back next time we’re in NYC! ⭐️✨”

“While the environment is undeniably gorgeous, the food quality is highly questionable. Our "Chicken Cage" was served undercooked, which is a major food safety concern. Instead of addressing the issue, the staff dismissed our complaint, arguing that their fixed cooking times are necessary to keep the chicken "juicy." For a $50 plate, you expect culinary expertise, not excuses. It’s clear they prioritize turnover over food safety. The bao buns and drinks were fine, but they don't justify the risk or the high prices. Great for a photo and a drink, but definitely not a dining destination.”
