“The food was excellent, service amazing, great rooftop. I originally came here cuz I saw online they had cool matchbooks and I collect them. Unfortunately they did not have any when I came but the food was sooo delicious and our waiter brought us cool pens instead which was so sweet of him. The rooftop is amazing and the views were incredible. I’ll definitely be back”

“After a trip to Yonkers we decided to come here for the sunset and some nice food. Neither experience was disappointing! The service was perfect and the plates brought to us were exquisite. This is my favourite Mexican restaurant in NYC now. The rooftop is intimate and comfortable with a greenhouse in case of wind/cold. Perfect!”

“Step into El Nico, a hidden gem perched on the 11th floor that’s bursting with color and good vibes! Named after the previous owner’s adorable chihuahua, this spot is where cozy meets cool. Inside, it’s all warm and inviting, the outdoor patio is complete with heaters to keeps things comfy even on chilly nights. The menu keeps it simple and delicious. We kicked things off with Totopos and Salsa, featuring three mouthwatering dips: guacamole, salsa verde, and salsa roja. There’s so much salsa, you’ll definitely want extra chips to soak it all up. The guacamole? Absolute perfection. Now, let’s talk tacos. The Carne Asada and Chicken Tinga were authentic, juicy, bold, and packed with flavor—honestly, some of the best I’ve had. And the drinks? A total dream!!! The Mango Old Fashioned arrived with a gorgeous honeycomb shaped white chocolate that paired like magic. The Melon Colada? Unique, refreshing, and unforgettable. Even the bathrooms were spotless. Yes, I’m mentioning it because they impressed me that much, lol. Street parking is tight, but I parked nearby at City Parking, just a 3-minute walk away. Without a doubt, El Nico is a must-visit. Go for the views, stay for the flavor”

“Me and my friend had a great experience dining at elNico on a very cold Thursday bight in January. All the dishes we tried were tasty and flavorful from the elote to the guac & chips, the cauliflower tacos were amazing, the main fish dish (it was fried cod) really good. We also enjoyed their version of margarita. Nice and kind server, Bryceon and manager Arianna. The winterhouse set up outside was cool but way too cold to be there. Overall good experience.”

“The chicken was too salty. The guacamole was very fresh. The service was slow. The server asked me if I wanted chips for the guacamole at the end of the meal as he was clearing the plates. I said "yes" but then he brought the check and not the chips. He probably couldn't hear me because the music was too loud.”
