“This restaurant was amazing—from the food to the ambiance, everything was on point. The staff and kitchen were incredibly accommodating with my many food allergies, which I really appreciated, and they still delivered excellent service and delicious food. The music was great, with nostalgic covers that added to the vibe, and the staff checked in often without being overwhelming. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. The garbanzo bean hummus was absolutely delicious and full of flavor—I highly recommend it. The salmon was also very fresh and perfectly prepared. Overall, a fantastic experience”

“I recently celebrated my anniversary at this wonderful restaurant, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! The food was delicious, the hospitality was exceptional, and the service was top-notch. The entertainment was a highlight, with talented dancers who truly brought the place to life—definitely a fun show to watch! A special shoutout to my server Eri, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel right at home. I also want to thank the manager, Natali, who was so sweet and always checking in on guests. Her engagement and awareness of the restaurant's atmosphere really added to the experience. Overall, the hospitality here is outstanding, making it one of my favorite Mediterranean spots in the city. I loved everything about it!”

“We stopped in for RW lunch on a weekday, and the restaurant was pretty quiet. The service was attentive and friendly, and the space itself was bright and very clean. For appetizers, we ordered the sesame‑crusted feta and the meatballs. The meatballs were ok, but the sesame crusted feta with fig spread was absolutely delicious. For entrées, the branzino was good, nicely cooked, but not particularly memorable. The truffle pasta, however, was excellent: perfectly cooked, creamy, and full of flavor. For dessert, we both had the baklava, which was wonderful, and the pistachio ice cream served alongside it was equally delicious. Overall, I’d definitely return, whether it’s during Restaurant Week or not.”

“I really wanted to love this place because the ambiance is absolutely stunning. Gaia delivers a true Mediterranean escape with the decor, lighting, music, and energy are easily a 10/10. The entire evening felt like a Mediterranean wedding in Mykonos, complete with vibrant Mediterranean mixes and live belly dancers. The vibe alone makes it worth experiencing at least once. So why 3 stars? Unfortunately, the food didn’t match the atmosphere. There were a few highlights- the burrata salad was fresh and enjoyable, the trio of dips (hummus, spicy feta, and fava) were excellent, and the baklava was the standout dessert. The sirloin steak was also well-executed, cooked to a perfect medium and full of flavor. However, much of the menu fell short. The beet salad was disappointing due to stale apples that lacked crunch and had an off taste. The spinach pie lacked texture, with a flat crust and a filling that didn’t taste fresh. For the mains, the duck was bland, the branzino needed seasoning, and the lamb chops were overcooked (well done instead of medium-well). Sides like the broccolini, oregano fries and lemon potatoes were solid, but desserts beyond the baklava- including the cheesecake and chocolate cake- were underwhelming. Overall, Gaia is a place you go for the experience, not the food. Incredible vibe, but the kitchen needs serious improvement to match the level of the setting.”

“I chose to visit GAIA because I remember GAIA from London where I had an excellent experience. It is important to mention that this is a completely different restaurant that only shares the same name. From the beginning, the experience had several downsides. When the hostess took us to our table, we were immediately told that we had 90 minutes to finish our dinner. In all my dining experience, no one has ever started a meal this way, especially when the restaurant was more than half empty. We decided to stay and give it a chance, but things did not improve. After receiving the menu, we were ignored for about 25 minutes. The restaurant was still more than half empty. Eventually we had to catch the attention of a server just to place our order, and only then were we given the wine list. The bottle of wine arrived after 45 minutes, I checked my watch. It is quite unreasonable to receive wine together with the main course while also being reminded of a strict time limit. The food itself was good, which makes the overall experience even more disappointing. The manager noticed our frustration, asked about our experience, and handled it professionally. She offered us two complimentary desserts, which was a nice gesture and appreciated. Also bread was extremely dry and cold”
