Graziella's Restaurant & Wood Burning Pizza

“I really like this place...! I found myself at Graziella's after the wife made me aware that her sister was in town from Chicago and had wanted the family to have a dinner get-together with her other sister, mom and their kids. I was unable to get out of a meeting in Jersey City until 8pm, but possibly thanks to congestion pricing (lord, perish the thought....) I made it from Journal Square to Graziella's in roughly 35 minutes and I even secured curbside parking up the street...! After I located Graziella's, I stepped inside to a lively family restaurant ambience. The place is reasonably large, but not so big, as to make you feel anonymous when receiving service (Nina took great care of us), and it gives you the heartfelt sensations that most eateries in New York have lost long ago. I arrived late, so I wasn't able to eat with everyone else, but the wife had ordered the spaghetti shrimp scampi while I was on the way and it arrived nearly as soon as I did...! While everyone else noshed on their desserts I indulged in a rather tasty concontion of fresh shrimp, garlic, spaghetti and whatever else scampi sauce is made out of. I would recommend a visit for that meal alone. Everyone from the single-digit aged kiddies to my septuagenarian mother-in-law reported thorough satisfaction with their meals and my experience was no different. I finished the evening off with their chocolate lava cake which was no less satisfying then the shrimp scampi. Try them. I think it'll be worth the trip for you, as well...!”

“Everything about this restaurant is on point from the service, ambience and especially the food. I ordered the Margherita pizza with pepperoni, small fried calamari and the spaghetti with meatballs and sausage. It was easily one of the best things I’ve eaten this year so far. The coffee also smelled amazing from another table. I will have to come back just to try that. Everything is a 10/10. You won’t be disappointed coming here.”

“Amazing service, food and atmosphere all around. I so enjoyed meeting the owners and also trying many different options. We had the rice balls and the calamari for appetizers. The fried calamari was the best I’ve had. It was so good! I had the fish of the day and the veggies which was very yummy. After lunch we also had espresso and tried the cannolis. The espresso was surprisingly delicious, like a very good typical Italian style of espresso dark roast. The whole experience was amazing!”

“Food here was good. I liked that they had a lot of options but sometimes could mean the quality of each dish may not be consistent vs a simple menu. We had the Mike’s hot honey pizza which came with a whole lot of pepperoni & a sesame seed crust. The baked clams were really good, we should’ve gotten the 12 pieces instead of 6. Our entrees were good, my husband got the penne vodka with the prosciutto added and I got the linguini with clams in white sauce. Both, extra saucy and piping hot! Just how we like it :)”

“The food was good and nicely warm.. could have been hotter.We ordered everything at the same time even though things came out separately. The pasta which had no protein was the last thing to come out and by the looks of it you can tell it was just sitting there. I didnt like the fact that my food came out and had to wait for his food to come out when we should have been served our main dishes together.”
