“Authentic dishes made with fresh ingredients that are fairly priced for any city, but a bargain in NYC. The service is friendly and dishes are served up quickly. Seating was plentiful but a little tight. While this isn’t a fancy date-night restaurant, the ambiance was solid, and the dishes tasted great.”
“As someone who didn’t think they liked Italian food, this felt like the most authentic version. Everything was amazing, the sauce for the meatballs was perfection. Nothing felt short of or bland and every dish I tried really just surprised me. I also want to note that this isn’t a place you can go to if you’re in a rush. Everyone allows you to take your time- they give you time for the bill, for you to finish drinks and time to chat. Which in my option only added to the authenticity. Staff was so nice and attentive. Don’t skip the dessert.”
“Lunch special is phenomenal and huge portions. Bread and oil in the beginning was sooo good too. A place i would for sure come back to and as a vegetarian felt that there were enough options. Soup was delicious and so was the pizza!”
“Authentic and delicious! We visited from Houston in July, 2025, and the dishes that we had were very good. This is coming from a person who normally is not a fan of Italian food (e.g., pizza and pasta) and someone who doesn't even like most Italian restaurants outside of NYC. Moreover, this place is definitely better than the typical Little Italy tourist traps in NYC. The service was warm and friendly. Just a heads up for summer visitors: it gets very hot and humid inside, and the restroom is quite small. We were very uncomfortable inside, and that's the only reason for the four stars. Still, the flavors and textures are 10/10. P.S. Although my son loves Italian food, he doesn't like zucchini, and he wouldn't eat mushroom or eggplant. Surprisingly, this time he ate a few slices of my pizza and said it was quite good.”
“I had stumbled upon this place as I was walking and decided to go in as a solo date. Off the bat the aesthetic of the place is so cute and homey. I had ordered the Whipped Ricotta that had honey & Calabrian chili oil. That was so good especially with the bread. The honey really was a good touch. I then ordered as an appetizer the Polpo. That one was okay, it needed a little bit more salt and the olives were a little too overpowering. The Octopus itself was really good. As for the Main, the Spaghetti Carbonara was 10/10. So delicious and creamy. I would 100% come back to get it again. Lastly for desert was the Sorbetti Ripieno, all I can say is yum yum yuuuum!! The presentation is so beautiful and the taste was so wonderful and refreshing 10/10. Overall I would come back again with a group of friends as well.”
