“The attention to detail and the creativity behind the menu truly stand out. From the presentation to the balance of flavors, every dish felt carefully crafted. I ordered the Jalebi Chaat, which was crunchy with just a mild level of spice. I also tried the Lamb Keema Kulcha, and it was just as delicious. For drinks, I chose the Pehla Nasha cocktail, which was tropical and citrusy with subtle notes of cardamom. It was something completely new for me, and I absolutely loved it. The service was genuinely warm from the moment I walked in. This is the kind of restaurant that creates a memorable dining experience from start to finish. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.”
“I visited Ishq recently and had an excellent experience. The food was full of flavor and very well seasoned. I tried the Gupchup and Sharabi Chicken Tikka, and both were delicious. The service was prompt, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family. I would definitely go back again. Highly recommended!”
“The food was awesome. We ordered Jalebi chaat, Sharabi Murg and ajwaini shrimp. The chicken and Jalebi chaat was heavenly, perfect balance of every taste. In the main course we had naan, lacha paratha and Dum ka ghosht. Everything was mouth- melting. The desert “dum ka meetha” with a blend of apricot, vanilla ice cream and ghee fried jalebi was the perfect item to sum up. The staffs are very courteous. Excellent place to be on your special day.”
“Great place to sit at the bar and enjoy punchy food and mellow drinks, or to sit at a table to get lost in conversation while sharing bread and curries. My favorite was the dum ka gosht where the curry was spiced without being spicy and the goat was tender while keeping the goat's lean taste. I also highly recommend the hara paneer mattar kulcha. Kulchas are always good and the peas provide a vegetal depth to the salty fatty cheese kulcha. The gongura shrimp had good shrimp and amazing bajji underneath, I loved eating this separately with bread. The lahsooni oysters had a great sauce where the oysters played a briny complementary role. The Gobi was well-fried and nice. The breads were moist and reasonable. But those two curries, the bajji and the goat, were another level. From the cocktail side the jaan-e-maan had the best balance due to the faba and the extra flavors. I also recommend the kiss me in goa for the sweetness. The hoth rasiley has a cool vibe with a betel leaf taste that is home for some including myself. Overall a great place that I'm adding to my rotation. Prices are reasonable given the portion size: a date should get one main and two appetizers with two breads.”
“Ishq means love and there was no better place to go for a valentines brunch than this place! The drive was peaceful and there is enough parking garages nearby with a walking distance to the restaurant. The ambience was a tad let down, we expected the decor and ambiance to be much more evocative than what it really was. No offense, there was an understate elegance and calmness to the place with the dim mood lighting. The food was wonderful and we tried many options from their brunch menu. The kokum flavors cocktail was spice and potent and a perfect pick me up! The jalebi chaat and Raj kachori were earthy and flavorful. The Ishq dal makhani was a signature dish and we kept going back to the bowl for helpings. The unique Himachali gucchi was a perfect umami flavor bomb in a curry gravy. Finished off with a great khubani ka meetha and a perfect sweet ending to a wonderful valentines brunch! Would love to come back for dinner sometime soon!”
