“My family and I had a delicious dinner at Konban — highlights from the menu for us included the corn rib, ebi fry, yellowtail crudo, and the mazemen. We had a larger group so we had to contact them directly for a reservation but a week+ out they were able to accommodate us without issue. Service was great — shoutout to Boz for the excellent hospitality.”

“This is my favorite katsu spot in nyc! I tried out some of their new dishes since my last visit (branzino with yakisoba and clam pasta) and my goto pork loin katsu. Katsu is as good as usual, golden and crispy and the noodle dishes were also fantastic! Highly recommend try out this spot! Plus, corn ice cream is such a fun and unique dessert to try out and it actually tastes like a corn 🌽”

“The food was so tasty and beautifully presented!! 10/10 recommend! You need to get the mazemen, the noodles are so fresh and the flavors all pair together so well. Also the yellowtail crudo was so refreshing!! The shrimp tempura was so crispy and the accompanying dipping sauces were delicious! You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!! The ambiance is so nice and peaceful for a spot in the heart of Chelsea. The service was great and everyone was so friendly. I will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu!!”

“This place has been on my must try list for so long because it’s not that easy to get a res especially for larger groups. Overall it’s a good spot. We all agreed that the best dish was the mazemen - the noodles are super bouncy and the sauce is so flavorful. The katsus are definitely some of the better katsus I’ve had in NYC. Very clean and simple like they do it in Japan but idt they compare to the ones I’ve had in Japan still. The desserts are very unique, great to try. The cocktails are also pretty good and the vibe/ aesthetic are great. Overall I would definitely recommend this place.”
