“We had an absolutely delicious meal here! We came for brunch and got the petichat shulchan which was all the salads and one of the most delicious focaccias I’ve had. There was truly a lovely variety of salads and they were all so fresh. We ordered the kebab which were absolutely incredible and then we ordered the shnitzel which was a true treat. Needless to say we left there with full tummies and smiling faces. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area. ( it’s best to make a reservation if you know you’ll be around as it tends to get busy)”

“Excellent eatery and experience all around. Offerings are sumptuous and nutritious, catered through casual yet highly informed staff. The pasta is an exceptional standout, made in house and perfectly al dente. Special tanks to Andrew Max and Sebastian for heading a fantastic evening. “I didn’t think Malka could get any better but then brunch happened! Amazing!! My new favorite meal! The salatim were amazing. I can’t believe how good the mohammura and tomato and caper sauce were- I didn’t even think I liked capers until I tried and loved that sauce! Please never get rid of brunch!! Maya was an incredible server. She went above and beyond to make sure our every need was attended to. I saw her check in with parties waiting at the host stand while the host was seating other guests. When I inquired about a straw, she states you had no straws but offered to go next door and get one for me- a completely generous and gracious offer I declined but it showed how hospitable she is. Maya joins the ranks of David as our favorite servers at Malka! Btw you can upgrade your brunch to include unlimited cocktails or mocktails for $10 Normal brunch includes a coffee, tea or soda”

“Malka is a refreshing take on familiar Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes, the flavors are hearty and healthy using quality ingredients and premium olive oil. The environment is lively and service is attentive keeping water glasses filled. The leek pizza, smashed baked potato and maitake mushrooms were particularly memorable with freshly puréed vegetables garnishing each atop or as an encompassing sauce. The meze platter was beautifully presented with fresh cut vegetables drenched with olive oil and flaky sea salt, but could’ve included more falafel as there was just one patty. The menu is very accommodating toward all dietary restrictions, however, one warning I will mention is that this place is pricey—for a party of 9 vegetarians ordering two items per person plus a drink, which was just the right amount of food, our bill came out to $850. There was also a pre-fixe menu for $105 per person offered.”

“Upscale Israeli food. The food was very good. The lamb bilini was the highlight. Also really enjoyed the tuna. The menu is confusing and requires an explanation from the servers, but they are lovely and friendly explaining everything in detail. The place is hopping and definitely get a reservation. It's loud and lively on a week night.”
