“I went with a couple of friends to eat at this restaurant. We ordered two hamburgers with mashed potatoes, and everything was perfectly cooked. The meat was just right and very delicious. The food arrived hot and well prepared. The restaurant has an incredible atmosphere. It feels like being at home, very comfortable and welcoming. The staff is very kind, friendly, and attentive, which makes the experience even better.”

“The food was really good, a bit pricey but it’s Glatt kosher so it’s expected. The wait staff was attentive and kind and there was live music which just made the entire experience even better. My husband and I had a great date night!”

“So I went here with my sister last night for dinner. I live in Brooklyn, and I despise the city, but i had amazing company so I went. I always wanted to try Talia's so I had high hopes. I found parking across the street and we walked in. There were 3 other tables woth people but not a waiter to be seen. We spent maybe 3 or 4 awkward minutes standing there. Then someone came and gave us a table. The table rocked back and forth so we moved. Then we got the menu and some water. We ordered the sampler. The knish was literally raw on the inside, the chicken was bland, the kibbeh was ok, the falafel was ok, but the cigars were AMAZING. I asked the waiter if they make it in house he said no. They get it from BROOKLYN. My sister asked for ketchup, ugh, it Never came. I went to the kitchen and asked the chef who was the only one there, and he gave it to me. I got the prime rib, my sister got the cauliflower steak. What the heck is a cauliflower steak?? Anyway she said it was good. I don't see how one can mess up a slice of cauliflower. My prime rib came out on a sizzling plate. It was ok. Nothing special, nothing to justify 80 dollars. I got spinach with it, I wish they had Mrs dash so I could put some flavor in it. Anyway while it was nice to see my sister and hang out, I was disappointed with our food experience. Btw I realized at the end where all the waiters went. Turns out there is a shawarma place next door that the waiters in talias work. They were very busy, made me jealous that I didn't go there.”

“An extremely disappointing meal. We were visiting NYC during Passover from LA and I had been looking forward to having a kosher steak for weeks (we don't live near any kosher restaurants in LA). It took 35 mins for our starters to arrive when we were informed they were out of french fries (though the chicken fingers were pretty good). It then took another 25 mins (i.e. an hour total) for the main courses to arrive. The restaurant somehow achieved the feat of simultaneously serving me a steak that was burnt to a crisp (despite ordering it medium rare) but was also cold to the touch! The quinoa it came with was also cold (supposedly this was meant to be the case, which makes zero sense when you're ordering a hot dish). In addition, my wife was informed they they had run out of the mashed potatoes she had ordered. We were offered free dessert to make up for the terrible meal but, at that point, it had already been 2 hours since we arrived and we had to get home to put our kids to bed so we declined. I understand there may be challenges operating a restaurant during Passover but if you can't offer a reasonable experience, especially given the exorbitant prices, simply don't do it. Sorely, sorely disappointed.”

“We went to the restaurant with a nice group of friends, but we were very disappointed with the service. The waiters were extremely slow. Our order was not brought in full, and some of our friends did not receive their meals at all. We waited about an hour for our cocktails. When we ordered dessert, the dirty dishes were not cleared from the table first — they should remove the dirty plates before serving dessert and tea. Unfortunately, after such service, I do not want to come back to this restaurant again.”
