At Miriam Restaurant the cuisine is uniquely, distinctly Israeli. Our menu is seasonal, and many of our ingredients come straight from Israel. Yet what exactly is Israeli cuisine? Truthfully, to enter the subject is not unlike entering a sea by foot and feeling a sudden deepening. Unlike French, Chinese, Italian food, etc., one does not unfold the menu at Miriam with a set of associations firmly in the mind. In truth, there exists no single dish, no single style of preparation that one might call uniquely Israeli. And yet this lack of identity is its identity, its beauty.
“I Went there for Mother’s Day with my son. The food was amazing!!! Had there Jerusalem breakfast and it taste so good. The service was 10/10. I will definitely come back to try their dinner menu.”
“Come hungry! Seriously, the portions are generous and delicious. But that doesn’t mean the food isn’t wonderfully prepared and fresh tasting. For the price I’d describe it as a good value and most of the main entrees could be shared (especially with an appetizer). I really want to go back and try more of the dishes…next time I’ll come hungrier! It has a nice cozy ambiance, but not too cramped. Only complaint was the service was sometimes hard to track down (like to grab a new fork or get a water refill).”
“The restaurant has a good vibe and fun dining atmosphere. The waitress was very attentive, friendly and helpful. We had side of grilled rice and broccoli, salmon and chicken schnitzel. The salmon had good taste and delicious pistachio crusts. However the portion was disguised in baking paper. Tiny portion of Salmon and vegetables. The rice could be more flavor. The schnitzel was delicious especially the beet sauce. But I looked over the next table, their portion of chicken was double of mine. It was disappointing that the cooking was not consistent. My wife and I hope to try another dishes at Miriam with better experience next time.”
“A wonderful neighborhood spot with a warm, cozy atmosphere. I sat at the bar and had a great experience—the staff were genuinely friendly, and the bartender was especially kind, welcoming, and fun to chat with. The food was excellent. I tried the chicken taco, which was delicious, and I heard the lamb taco is one of their signature items, so I’ll definitely be back to try it. Overall, a great combination of good food, good people, and a comfortable local vibe. Highly recommended.”
“Cute place with great service. We at there for dessert and were treated very friendly. The ambiance is cozy and relaxed with a very warm staff. The flavors are great. I definitely would recommend this place.”
