“The menu is full of bold flavors and beautifully presented dishes. Some options, like the Tom Yum rice, pack quite a spicy kick—perfect for anyone who loves heat! I’d recommend letting them know your spice preference so they can tailor it to your taste. The octopus and drunken noodles were flavorful and satisfying, and it’s clear a lot of care goes into the cooking. Dessert was a standout—the pistachio cheesecake was absolutely divine, creamy and perfectly balanced. The Thai ice tea is the biggest stand out because of the jelly—whoa, they even had lactaid milk and almond!”
“Blending flavors from Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia, and delivering a bold and innovative dining experience. The space leans minimalist yet sophisticated, with a well-curated full bar. On the food side, Nemesis offers creative reinterpretations of Southeast Asian classics. The Fried Oysters, Thai-style Beef Tongue, and Grilled Iberico Pork Jowl were all outstanding! The Roasted Bone Marrow with Baguettes was flavorful but leaned a bit too rich. Drinks are another highlight here, with beautifully crafted cocktails like the Freshman Fizz, Sky High, and Starry Night Sour — all highly recommended. Their cocktail menu is thoughtfully designed, with illustrations of each drink alongside details on potency, sweetness, and sourness, making it approachable even for guests less familiar with cocktails. Overall, Nemesis is perfect for small gatherings or share-style dining. The menu feels a bit like a Southeast Asian twist on tapas, with many small plates and shareable dishes, making it equally great for planned nights out or casual walk-ins.”
“Phenomenal and amazing, 10/10 visit. Service was flawless, both of our waiter are extremely polite and attendant. Food is great, recommend getting the Bone Marrow and the Black Sesame Cheesecake for dessert! Ambiance is also amazing, perfect for conversation and the food arrives in a speedy manner. Able to get full and be happy without breaking the bank too much too! Would definitely be back :)”
“Was overall an interesting experience, especially given how much I appreciate fusion cuisine. I really enjoyed the creativity behind the Malaysian and Thai flavors interplay. The dessert selection was quite disappointing unfortunately just down the block. Gramercy Tavern was able to scratch the itch. A decent first date spot. The bronze was supposed to be one of the most well reviewed fish and while it was quite palatable, I have definitely had better within a 10 block radius.”
“Good food, good service, good atmosphere (was a tad dark but maybe I'm getting old). I would say modern Thai food compared to places like Pranakhon. Less spicy but still great flavor overall. Tom Yum seafood entree was hearty. Good amount of seafood. Not spicy really. More on the sour and savory side. Maybe some glass noodles in there would be a good addition? The XL volcano ribs dish is really pork neck/spine bones. NOT ribs. I was actually a bit disappointed. While I love pork neck bones I was expecting ribs. It was meaty but definitely not meaty like an actual rib. Flavor was excellent. Good with white rice. The mushroom pad cha was excellent. Savory and earthy with the mushroom. The sauce was excellent. Laksa noodles were really excellent! The curry sauce, the chicken cutlet, the sprouts and the boodles worked really well together! Very excellent dish! And finally we had the sesame basque cheese cake with coconut cream and the pineapple plan. But the desserts were surprisingly light. The black sesame cheesecake was a bit savory due to the sesame and it was just excellent. The pineapple flan was fruity, not overly sweet, and silky. They were both great. Service was prompt and excellent. Some of the Instagram dishes weren't available anymore. But the server was excellent and informative. Dirty dishes were promptly exchanged and water was filled regularly.”
