“Absolutely loved my experience at Sands of Persia in New York! If you’re looking for a unique restaurant with amazing food, cocktails, ambiance and a perfect spot for a fun dinner with friends or date night, this place is definitely worth visiting. The atmosphere is beautiful, stylish and full of energy while still feeling cozy and welcoming. The staff was also incredibly friendly, attentive and made the whole experience even better. We started with the Ferrero Rocher Martini and wow… such a delicious dessert-style cocktail, perfectly creamy, rich and balanced without being too sweet. We also ordered the chips and guac which were super fresh and flavorful, and the dumplings were honestly one of my favorite appetizers of the night, perfectly cooked with amazing flavor in every bite. For the main experience we tried the Ultimate Sample Platter and this is definitely a MUST order if you’re visiting for the first time. It gives you the perfect variety to try different flavors and everything was cooked perfectly, juicy, flavorful and beautifully presented. The portions were generous and perfect for sharing. Overall, Sands of Persia is one of those spots in New York that truly gives a full dining experience from the ambiance and drinks to the quality of the food and service. Highly recommend for anyone searching for the best Persian-inspired restaurant, cocktails and shareable platters in NYC. Can’t wait to come back!”

“Amazing experience at Sands of Persia! The atmosphere was beautiful and the vibe was perfect for a chilled night out. Special shoutout to the shisha server who really looked after us all evening — super attentive, friendly, and always checking that everything was smooth and fresh without us even having to ask. The shisha was on point and replaced right on time. Service like that makes all the difference. We’ll definitely be back! 🔥💨”

“Service was superb! Food was good overall, but can be more flavorful. The sauce with the satay chicken was really nice. Got Samaira & Sultan hookahs- my preference was the Sultan. The atmosphere was also nice overall, but the loud music and spaced seating made it difficult to communicate with my companion to the point where we were texting more than half the time of our stay. Otherwise decor is nice, DJ plays good music, and perhaps because it was a Saturday there was a belly dancer show. It was a nice experience but very expensive.”
