“Very friendly service! It’s such a nice restaurant and I love the terrace on sunny days. The spicy rigatoni plate was very good and the Princess Cake is the best princess cake I’ve ever had. Perfect lunch break in Soho.”
“truly a 10/10 experience. the wait staff was professional and just stellar. and you can tell looking at this place they take their service and standards seriously. no doubt in my mind this has to be a staple of soho culture.”
“We came here for lunch on a warm September weekday and the outdoor area was at full capacity. Would definitely recommend making reservations. The service and food was impeccable. We had the artichoke and arugula salad with grilled chicken and BLT followed by the famous “princess cake” for dessert.”
“There’s an immediate level of sophistication the moment you step into this restaurant. The room is beautifully designed, polished and elegant. Service mirrors that energy: attentive and fluid. The lentil salad is understated but effective. Warm lentils, soft roasted vegetables, and a basil dressing that keeps everything light and composed. The pomodoro is textbook, a reminder that simplicity, when executed well, is hard to beat, san marzano tomatoes bright and silky, clinging to perfectly cooked pasta. The cacio e pepe leans rich and smooth, the cheese binding to the pasta. It could push further with black pepper though. The bolognese is deeper, veal ragù slow-cooked into something very hearty and comforting, coating every ribbon of pasta. Then dessert. The principessa is a showstopper, lemon sponge, pastry cream, whipped cream, all wrapped in marzipan. It’s as beautiful as it is delicious.A meal that feels thoughtful, complete, and quietly luxurious from start to finish.”
“Stopped in for an appetizer and then went next store for some cookies. Food was very good but the restaurant is extremely crowded and service was underwhelming. Rating is because of the food, if based on service at either the restaurant or the coffee bar it would have been lower. Prosciutto app was an extremely large portion, actually a little out of balance based on the mozz that was served with it. Mozzarella was very good, creamy with a little tang and I think maybe a sprinkling of salt.”
