“A lot of fun with pool tables, ping pong, and fun games. The bar has great drinks. The DJ had great music upstairs and downstairs. Would highly recommend this place”
“Had a blast for a friend’s b-day. Drinks were strong as hell 😂 I had to dilute it with juice twice(2x). Will definitely be back in the near future 🥂”
“Slate NY is an experience, not just a venue! 🎉 Came here for a work event and was seriously impressed — where else can you enter via a slide 🛝 and immediately be surrounded by arcade games 🎯, multiple levels 🆙, and flexible event spaces that cater to any vibe? Whether you’re hosting something corporate 💼, social 🥂, or just plain fun 🎲, Slate has the perfect setup. The space is smartly designed to keep groups separate but energized — and the coat check is a lifesaver 🧥✅. “I had a very disappointing experience with the staff, especially the host and host assistant, Toor. About an hour before arriving, I called to confirm availability for a party of five and was told there would be no problem accommodating us. My family and I specifically wanted to visit for the games and slide area, so based on that information, we took an Uber all the way there. When we arrived, I told the host assistant that we were told there was availability. He immediately responded that it was “impossible” that the host would have told me that because there was a private event downstairs. At no point during my phone call was I informed that the downstairs area, including the games and slide, would be unavailable due to a private event. Had we been told that beforehand, we would not have spent the time and money taking an Uber there. Instead, we arrived expecting to enjoy the main attractions of the venue, only to find out that the very reason we came wasn’t available. I then spoke with the host directly, but rather than acknowledging the miscommunication, both the host and host assistant were dismissive and rude. The host assistant was argumentative from the start and even laughed when I explained that I had never been there before and had no way of knowing about the private event. As first-time customers, we expected clear communication and basic courtesy. Instead, we felt brushed off and treated as though the mistake was somehow our fault. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and rude customer service left a very negative impression.”
