This subterranean jazz club, with its vaulted ceilings and exposed brick walls, was modeled after the boites of Paris. Doors open at 6:30pm. Since the 7:30pm show is a dining show, we encourage all guests to arrive between 6:30pm-7:00pm. This allows you to enjoy conversation, dinner, and drinks before the show and cuts down on service noise during the music. We only accommodate reservations for up to 4 guests. Cover Charge - $35 per person nightly, with a 2-drink minimum per person. Cancellations are accepted 24 hrs. prior to reservation time, otherwise, a $35 per person cancellation fee will be automatically charged. Each reservation is allotted 90 minutes from the time of their reservation. Quiet Policy - The Django does have a quiet policy, and we request that conversation be kept to intermissions and voices be kept to a whisper during the music set. If you would like to converse with your group, we suggest that you book reservations for the 7:30pm set so that you can have drinks, dinner, and conversation between 6:30pm and 7:00pm before the music starts.
“Wow, I loved it! the food was really good and the ambiente was incredible. A must when you are in NYC. the server also brought a desert because we were celebrating a birthday. 10/10”
“The Django is truly a jazz gem in New York. The atmosphere is intimate, the live band was amazing, and the cocktails are excellent. I ordered a Coffee Martini that wasn’t even on the menu, and they made it absolutely perfect. The experience feels very authentic and elegant. Just keep in mind that reservations are highly recommended, there’s usually a 1.5-hour seating time between sets, and a minimum of two drinks per person. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great jazz night in NYC — I’d definitely come back.”
“Lots of fun! Great show and I was expecting a decent dinner, well it wasn’t, it was top notch. Duck club was perfect. Also had steak tartare and meat and cheese board. Cocktails were great too. Our server, I believe his name was Erick, was very well trained in service. There when we needed him and non intrusive the rest of the time. 10/10”
“Make a reservation for free. Two item purchase minimum required with reservation. Cover charge is charged on the day of reservation. The atmosphere is beautifully stowed away under the Roxy Hotel, which gives a nice speakeasy vibe. The low light makes it romantic and calm. They have basically good drinks. I didn’t have any food, but it smelled amazing as it was being served to the table next to me. Cheapest night to book is on Sunday.”
“My recent visit to The Django, was truly a highlight of my trip to New York. The live jazz performance was nothing short of phenomenal. The acoustics in the cavelike space are excellent, making for an immersive and authenthic experience. The service was attentive and friendly, it was the perfect spot to celebrate my birthday and have a romantic date night with my husband. If you are looking for an authenthic, high-quality jazz experience in NYC, this is the place that will deliver a top tier evening that I would happily repeat.”
