A little piece of Switzerland in the heart of the West Village. A place to discover Swiss culinary and wine culture.
“I recently discovered this cute Swiss restaurant on my street and I’m so glad I did. The first time I stopped by, I just had some wine and charcuterie—it was great, but since I was alone, I didn’t get to try the fondue. So I came back yesterday with a friend, and we finally tried the cheese fondue… and it was absolutely delicious. The place itself is very lovely—the design is simple but beautiful, and I especially love the front area with the cute little gondola table for two. It gives such a cozy, romantic vibe. I’ll definitely be back!”
“We weren’t sure how a fondue wine bar night with a toddler would go… but this place exceeded every expectation 🤍 Not every upscale spot welcomes a toddler, but this one did, and did it beautifully! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel at home. Attentive, kind, and never once made us feel out of place. And the fondue? Absolutely delicious 🫕✨ Grateful for places that truly understand hospitality... and tired parents! Lol”
“We came here because I saw a Reddit post talking about interesting experiences in Manhattan, and they mentioned the secret message party. So we got a reservation and tried it out! I have to say, I found the secret message party to be disappointing, but the food, ambiance and service were terrific! We got a classic cheese fondue, the server recommended the cheese blend. We each got wine, our server was so great. She let us try a couple different wines before we settled on what we each wanted. The fondue is absolutely delicious, to balance out the richness of the fondue. We also got a kale salad that was also very tasty. We didn't even have room for dessert, unfortunately. I really enjoyed the food, wine, and service. The secret message party was disappointing, because all other tables answered our questions, it just wasn't the level of interesting exchange that we were seeking. And most people in the restaurant didn't really seem into passing the messages. So I would recommend coming here for the food, but don't have high expectations with regard to the secret messages.”
“Best traditional fondue in NYC. Simple menu, focus on the 3-cheese fondue served with potatoes, bread, and cornichon. Also ordered the charcuterie board (nice but a bit overpriced for the order, nice to dip in the fondue) and the steak tartare. Highly recommend the aromatic and crisp Les Parchets D’Emile Chasselas wine. Excellent to pair with the rich cheese. Sat in the gondola which is fun, but would recommend the small table near the window.”
“Stopped by Lavaux for lunch and had such a great time. The Raclette Burger was super satisfying and cheesy, and the truffle fondue was amazing, perfect for sharing. Really cozy vibe and a great spot to hang out with friends or spend a chill weekend together. Definitely a place I’d come back to again.”
