“Nestled underneath The Mean Fiddler in Midtown West Manhattan, The Woo Woo is serving up 1980’s vibes, craft cocktails and risque seduction in this underground speakeasy sex shop. Ring the doorbell at the front door to gain access.. but be prepared; guests could be asked for a password. Take a look around our website, maybe you can find it there? Inspired by the sexy, seedy underbelly of Times Square in the 1980’s with a marriage to the open-mindedness and fluidity of today, The Woo Woo promises a night full of promiscuity and seduction. After traveling through a winding graffiti staircase, guests come into an adults-only sex shop stocked with authentic 80's porn magazines and videos that guarantees a blush or two between friends. Step through the red curtain and wait to be buzzed through the VCR bookcase portal. Then, take a step back in time with us when we had the world at our fingertips and everything seemed possible. “
“First of all, we booked this for the experience not caring as much about the food…BUT LET ME TELL YOU. Best chicken tenders I’ve ever had. Potato crusted so they also were gluten free. LIV was the Best waitress. Total 80s vibe, great food, great service. Would come back again. I feel like it’s a great hole in the wall. If you wanna show someone a good time in the city.”
“Stopped by Woo Woo for a quick bite and a couple of cocktails before a show and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our bar tender Michael made the best drinks and was very personable.I have tasted my husband’s old fashion plenty of times but this was the first time it made me order my own, thanks to Michael. You’ll need the password to get in and it’s a fun themed speakeasy, would definitely visit again. Also food was good.”
“If you are an 80s fan this speakeasy is definitely your vibe. Love the atmosphere here. Ordered beef and chicken sliders and purple rain and dirty dancing for cocktails. Food was surprisingly good and sliders were quality. Drinks were great as well. My friend really enjoyed the purple rain drink. Service was great! Our server Liv was friendly and attentive the entire time.”
“We did a walk in and it was a very cool awesome themed bar. It was quite loud but the atmosphere was great. Got a few drinks and some food and it was all good. The theming of the drinks was cool too. I got the “Flash Me” and it came with a Polaroid. The prices weren’t horrible compared to other places in NYC either. The only thing was the servers were slow. I had to go to the bar every time to get them to let a server know we wanted to order food or more drinks. Besides that, the servers were nice.”
“My friend raved about this place and I can see why! I love the mystery approach having to provide a “password”. Once we entered, it was like we walked into an actual peep show, the mini TV, the old school VHS sex tapes, the sex TOYS! Once we provided ID, we entered this hallway, that led to the dining area. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to capture the essence of the book case and the old magazines due to our rude hostess, overall I loved the experience. I had the Dirty Dancing which was absolutely delicious paired it with the chicken tenders. Lovely atmosphere!”
