“Staff was friendly, the space is warm and inviting, very much cafe vibes. The chili on the avocado toast really gave it the proper kick. The matcha latte was not that good for me.”
“A great place for dinner as well. I saw a lot of reviews about breakfast and I was sitting there for dinner! But I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was good, set up was spaced out, service was pleasant and server was attentive. The food took a short bit to come in but was completely worth it. Ingredients were fresh, not overcooked and flavorful. Presentation and portion size were both good. We order the fish (Branzino) was very tasty, not overcooked and the potatoes+ hollandaise went well together. The peri-peri chicken had a decent kic, succulent but not spicy by any means. I think thought that the desert was the kicker! Banana bread with the Vietnamese coffee flavored cream + nut was an amazing combination. I would even just go back for just that. Great time overall. Worth your time and money.”
“Highly recommend! Brought my friend here for Mother’s Day. The food is so yummy and beautiful! Every single employee was so attentive and gracious!! The prices are unbeatable for the quality of the experience. Lina was our server and is amazing!! Definitely will be back!”
“Great Food! Fresh ingredients. If you are in NYC it’s a great option. The pita sandwich was amazing, and the sauce on the fries was great too. I’ll be back soon.”
“I’ve been to two hands before and it was always excellent so I’m not sure what happened here but the food and service were not as good, it was the first time in this location. We had hummus to start, Burata salad, Miso mushroom bowl and pesto gnocchi for our mains. Hummus was okay but it was quite acidic (like too much lemon juice). Gnocchi dish was so acidic that it was hard to eat! Mushroom bowl had rice in it and it was really bad: one part of the rice was crispy and hard, the other side was a mush. This tasted like old rice reheated and made into a bowl. Burata salad was fine, but all dishes had the same flavor profile: a bunch of chili flakes in them and/or acidic. I didn’t expect my salad to be spicy. The service: the resultant was pretty empty, with only a few tables and there were a lot of staff members on the floor. One server started helping us but before the food came she switched to another table. Also they forgot one of our cocktails which we had to remind about and it came out after mains eventually. Then no one asked us how the food was and eventually we asked for the check from someone and left a lot of food unfinished. Maybe this place is better for breakfast and brunch rather than for dinner or maybe they were having some issues at that time.”
