“Everything from start to finish about this place is phenomenal. Is a wonderful experience every time. So we decided to go out get away for a little bit and of course disaster struck everything is going crazy. We were 40 minutes late. I did call ahead the hostess Catherine so sweet and completely understanding and amazing. We had to delay our reservation by approximately 30 minutes when we arrived. Catherine greeted us and Renata also greeted us to lovely lovely young ladies. Our server wears Jack. Also Liz and LINDSAY pitch in as well and our buses were Hernando and Jerry everyone from starts to finish even the Manager Dave. It was amazing so nice so kind so sweet really gave that above and beyond experience and we were celebrating a special occasion as well so it was really nice. I highly recommend anything on the menu truly.. our waiter. Jack was very well-versed in the entire menu, including the wine selection the different appetizers the entrées Jack was well-versed with every single thing on the menu was able to give his personal feedback and really hit everything spot on for what we were looking for. as you can see someone could not wait to dig in to even let me get some photos for you guys. That’s how amazing the food is. The steak was cooked to perfection. The wine selection is abundant. The salad was perfect the dessert oh my goodness, the dessert wow so good ladies ladies ladies this is definitely the dessert all that that’s missing us that little pizza chocolate and they give you that little piece of chocolate you know that little piece of chocolate that you want when you get a different kind of cake, but you still want a little piece of chocolate they give it they think of everything. It was absolutely phenomenal. I highly recommend coming here and coming again and again and again they even have two TVs where you can actually watch the game while you’re eating or you can eat a bar you The dining area is also very beautiful. And there’s even more room upstairs, including a private room this place has thought of it all. I will tell you if you want it to be less quiet I suggest going for lunch Obviously the leader gets the more people there are, but even with the amount of people that were in there last night it was still easy for me to have a conversation . Everything about this place is the amazing hands-down. Amazing. Totally worth the 45 minute drive it took to get there. It was amazing so happy can’t wait to go back. And just a sidenote, we ordered the 1 pound meatball Witch as you can see I didn’t get any of them but the Arthur Avenue meatballs which I don’t have a picture of are amazing equally even better amazing”
“Dinner service was wonderful even though the restaurant was very busy. The food was high quality, as expected based on the reputation of the restaurant. The Cesar salad was delicious. The tomato mozzarella appetizer was ok, although the mozzarella was a bit hard and it lacked some flavor. The porterhouse for two was cooked perfectly. I would love to come back to try their desserts.”
“finally got to try out river palm terrace & I think it lived up to its hype for the most part! we had to try the sushi as it’s so highly recommended in the reviews. in my opinion, the fish was ver fresh and tasty, but the rolls itself were sort of mushy and could fall apart. i’d go back and try another roll just to see if the texture is a consistent thing or if they were just off the night we ate there. the steak we got was perfectly crispy & still juicy on the inside. chicken parm was nicely cooked and came with a side of pasta that was perfectly al dente. our fries were nothing to rave about but they came on a nice big plate, definitely worth sharing. our server kept reminding us to leave room for dessert, and i’m glad we did! we got the chocolate cake for 2 which was HUGE and delicious, and the graham slam gelato which was honestly my highlight of the night. not sure if this is the norm there, but the restaurant was significantly packed on a sunday evening. our server kept disappearing to handle other tables which is totally fine, but we were kept waiting for long periods of time when we needed them. however whenever they came around, their service was top notch and very friendly. it’s just really busy in there.”
“My husband and I really enjoy this restaurant. It’s Authentic and they really give that classic neighborhood steakhouse that’s upscale. Our server Anissa is lovely and always makes our dining experience great. We really love their steaks and the house made steak sauce is truly iconic.”
“I recently made a reservation to dine at this restaurant to celebrate my husband’s 46th birthday with him and our daughter. This was his first time dining here, and we were all very excited. I am a frequent guest and typically visit with my family about once a month, which made this experience particularly disappointing. We arrived about ten minutes early on a cold Wednesday evening, and the restaurant was surprisingly crowded. Even the bar was completely full, so we were unable to enjoy a drink while waiting for our table. Once seated, we were placed at a table directly in front of the kitchen, directly in the staff’s walking lane, with servers constantly passing by carrying plates of food. Throughout the evening, our chairs were repeatedly bumped into as staff moved back and forth, which significantly detracted from the experience—especially for a special occasion. We each ordered cocktails from the menu: a Cosmopolitan for myself, a Grey Goose martini for my husband, and a holiday sangria for our daughter. Unfortunately, my Cosmopolitan did not taste as expected. Although I felt uncomfortable sending it back on such a busy night, I did so. When it was returned, it was still overly sour and tasted mostly of lemon juice. Hoping my husband’s drink was better, I took a sip of his martini and was astonished by how unpleasant the flavor was. My daughter is a bartender, and when I shared how disappointing our drinks were, she commented—excuse the language—that “it’s hard to mess up a martini,” which made the situation even more surprising. Despite the disappointing drinks, we had high hopes for the food. We ordered the Caesar salad, oysters and the burrata salad as appetizers. For our main course, my husband and I shared the tomahawk steak cooked medium well, with sides of mashed potatoes and cream spinach. Our daughter ordered two sushi rolls. When the steak arrived, the top layer appeared almost burnt, which was unexpected given the requested doneness. Additionally, the Caesar salad did not resemble a traditional Caesar salad in flavor or preparation. On a positive note, the burrata salad was very good, as were the mashed potatoes and the cream spinach. Although we understood it was a busy night, our server was nothing short of lovely—honestly, she was the best part of the entire evening. Toward the end of the meal, the noise level had become overwhelming, and between the bustling atmosphere, the constant chair bumping, the disappointing drinks, and the underwhelming entrées, my husband and I left with severe headaches. When our server kindly asked if we would like dessert, we declined, as we were simply ready to go home. To say I was disappointed is an understatement.”
