Table 5 is an American restaurant in the Northville neighborhood of Northville.
“We live in downtown Northville and it is our favorite place to go for dinner. This evening we had their pork chop dinner we (excellent) and shrimp soy glazed. Both were outstanding. Staff has been here for years and that speaks well for staff and ownership. Thank you Table Five for being such a big part of Northville!”
“I love Table 5! It’s our go-to restaurant in our hometown Northville. Their event space Above Table 5 is an amazing space to host larger gatherings. We had our wedding rehearsal dinner for our family in May and everything was perfect! Wonderful professional friendly staff bring it all together.”
“Wife got the Halibut. I kept stealing her food. I got the Aged NY Strip. Problem is I HATE parsley and it was covered. Not much flavor to it at all. Just wish it had different seasoning / flavor added. The bread was great. Still 5 stars because the wife was happy.”
“I recently dined at Table 5 and had a mixed experience. The highlights of the meal were definitely the appetizers and dessert. The calamari appetizer was delicious—perfectly cooked and very flavorful. The butter cake was also outstanding and easily the best part of the evening. Unfortunately, the entrees were disappointing. The salmon was undercooked, and the steak was overdone, which made the main course fall short of expectations. Given how strong the appetizer and dessert were, it was surprising that the entrees missed the mark. Overall, there were some great elements to the meal, but the quality and execution of the entrees need improvement to match the rest of the menu. 🍽️”
“In my full opinion this restaurant lacks before even walking through the doors. I think it’s unfortunate, the branding is beyond subpar. Especially for the location and prices they ask. I think the logo is outdated, the color scheme lacks any motivation, and the website is that of a cheap Wix site. I think the place truly brings down the look of the entire block because of the branding. Once stepped inside I nearly walked right out. In my opinion the place screams outdated, the drop ceilings, and walk to the bathroom was in my thoughts not pleasant. I personally think the servers outfits are outdated, they were polos with the logo stitched in. The sizes they wear (in my opinion) are slightly too small. Which I think left for a personally un-comfortable dining experience. Which I think is all fine if this place wasn’t trying to be something it’s not. The food was mostly incredible and crafted with the mind of an artist, I thought. That is simply the only reason I would stay. I’ve been to multiple 3 Michelin star restaurants and the fact that this place charges what it charges for the “experience” you get is less than desirable in my opinion. I would personally save my money and go anywhere else. But maybe you’ll have a good experience. I think the Chef needs to find a new place of work. It’s in my opinion a shame seeing such art locked behind a wall of bland outdated and (again in my opinion) lazy business practices. I think the chef crafted dishes are like the Mona Lisa in the middle of a dump. But all in the eye of the beholder, check it out for yourself.”
