“Don’t let the dessert shop front fool you. This is so much more than that. It’s a full restaurant experience with an incredible menu, amazing atmosphere, and some of the best service we’ve had in a long time. The white truffle parmigiano reggiano with crispy garlic and aioli was unreal. Every bite felt intentional and packed with flavor. I also had the orecchiette and the Love Joy Old Fashioned, and both absolutely delivered. You can tell there’s real creativity and care behind the food and drinks here. But honestly, what made the night unforgettable was Joey. He was phenomenal. Attentive without hovering, incredibly kind, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. Joey made us feel welcomed, taken care of, and valued from start to finish. People like him are the reason customers come back. Cannot recommend this place enough. Incredible food, incredible drinks, and next level hospitality. We’ll absolutely be back. Also…..Joey took this photo. He is also an incredible photographer. He is the best.”
“Easily one of the best meals I’ve had in months. Each dish we had was better than the one before; the flavors were astounding and I would’ve loved to try everything on the menu. The shrimp, the short rib, and the goat cheese were standouts for me, but every bite was delicious. Great margaritas, and nice seating out on the patio. Will be eating here when I’m in Holland next.”
“Get the perch, you will not be disappointed. Atmosphere is good, loud but cozy. Great service with good suggestions. Wine is overpriced for the quality of wine you get. The old fashioned is a delight. Good for date night, anniversary, special occasion bit not for your everyday dining experience. Limited, pricey menu but food is very good.”
“It is unusual for me to post any review however we had a large family gathering for a special occasion and the food had some issues. You should not have Lake perch on the menu if it is fish sticks and not fresh lake perch with undercooked soggy french fries. I must say that was a stumper. You can get a bigger piece of fish at McDonald’s and probably fresher. The chicken Parmesan was flavorful. It just needed to be served with polenta or on a rice bed. The charge was $7 for bread and butter, however, three slices and was not warmed or even homemade in their restaurant. Therefore we spent $14 on 6 slices bread and the butter was slightly rancid. Portions were small don’t order the roast beef because it is about the size of a 50 Cent piece and the angel hair pasta came cut up. I must say I’ve never seen that before when serene in Italian dish. Salmon was over cooked. Expensive for the value”
“Food wasn’t good, everything was covered in a ton of sauce. Fatty meat for all 3 of the meals we had. Way overpriced for the quality. The perch meal looked like something you order from a county fair just fried and greasy, didn’t even eat it. Also didn’t mention it was fried on the menu that had hardly any details of what you’re even ordering. They were out of half of the things on the menu, literally out of 3 entrees and two desserts when the menu is already small to begin with. The seating is jam packed, you’re basically sitting on the table next to you. Also super loud. And I feel like using poquitos old reviews still for a "brand new" restaurant, is misleading and the only reason their ratings are high.”
