“Great restaurant. Their wine is good but expect between 50 and 100$ for bottles of wine. Entrées are a bit pricey, but the menu is elevated. Potatoes and chicken are incredible. The carrot salad has a lot of parsley so be prepared for that. Great access to cold drinking water, relaxing and nature filled outdoor patio seating area. parking on the street, no parking lot, really good garlic spread. They are great about handling food allergies.”

“We went to Ojai Roti to celebrate my Father In Law’s birthday and couldn’t have been happier to spend the evening there. The food was truly incredible and the service was somehow even better. It was getting a little cold out, and a staff member offered to turn the heater on and we were all instantly much more comfortable! At the end of the meal the Chef came over and talked to us for a while, which made the experience even richer! He was so kind and funny. Would gladly recommend to everyone!!! We can’t wait to come back.”

“I had this on my list for Ojai and I’m so happy I got to go. They did NOT miss. Chicken is very good and flavorful and the tabouli and cauliflower were great too. We did the half chicken for 2 people and It was more than enough. We also got the dips for snacks. The dips were amazing, I loved the use of white beans for the hummus and the eggplant dip was great. Everything was super fresh and It was an amazing meal that didn’t leave you feeling super heavy and lazy. I want to go back to try their kafta next time! Ambiance is very cute and outdoorsy as well”

“It is a good restaurant in downtown Ojai. The food is okay, but I have had better chicken rotisserie than here. The restaurant is very popular, but there is a line for everything: one line outside to be seated, then one line inside to order, then another line for the bathroom, another for wine, etc. The workflow can be improved to prevent all the lines. We tried the Habibi burger, which was good, and the half chicken with orzo and potatoes. Overall, it was okay food in a nice ambient restaurant. Inside you can also buy loaf of bread as well.”
