Randall's is an American restaurant in the Allentown neighborhood of Orefield.
“My family and I always enjoy having a good dinner at Randall‘s. Highly recommend making your reservation as early as possible, as the time slots go quickly. We enjoy an earlier dinner and we’re able to secure a 4:30 reservation in the Queen Victoria room. Our server, Andie, was wonderful and down to earth. The food was delicious from appetizers to main course. One opportunity would be to offer a smaller size of the baked onion soup. Having a hardy bowl of this delicious appetizer is a little too much for one person and we did have to take some home, leaving room for the main course. Unfortunately, we were so full after our meal we were not able to sample desserts at the end. We will surely be returning.”
“This conveniently located building believe it or not is almost 200yrs old. It came from a redesigned Queen Victoria hotel and now has multiple dining rooms which can allow for pleasant family occasions! Ours was some kind of private room that felt like something in a vacation. It was nice and quiet, even though the door to the rest of the restaurant was open. The server was okay but he did smell like cigarettes. I was under the impression that this is NOT that kind of restaurant. The food wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. I liked the salmon but goodness did the mozzarella sticks and chicken parm leave some flavor to be desired. I hate to say that because the atmosphere in this place is wonderful. The candles and flowers are such a cute touch along with the dim lighting.”
“First thing ... this is a premium $ restaurant .....Love the atmosphere , my server was awesome ... escargo was amazing ... but my main dish was chilean sea bass...( i usually travel a hundred and twenty five miles to the jersey shore when chilean sea bass is in season) it tasted good it was seasoned well... the outside was crispy But the inside of the fish was mushy Like it wasn't cooked enough...... i would have never written this review on my own.But they asked me to write a review.. So , the truth it is. .. If you're gonna charge manhattan prices, you should get manhattan quality food”
“This was our second time here. Our appetizer, the fried calamari was small but probably the best thing we got. The caesar salad was ok. My girlfriend got the shrimp francese and the plate was a good portion. I did the surf and turf, I ordered my filet medium and it was dry and way over cooked. My lump crab cake was nothing special, subpar at best. The restaurant was nice and our server was great. Food not so much. In my opinion, the food was not worth the price. There are other restaurants in the Valley you can spend the same money and get way better food.”
“I ordered the seafood combination entree and I will be honest. I havent had bad seafood in a long time, and this was one of the worst. The lobster was so tough and rubbery it was nearly inedible. The fish disintegrated upon chewing - so over done. They put only 2 shrimp on the plate, again tough and chewy. The scallops used for this entree were tiny bay scallops, not large sea scallops as I was hoping. They do not make this distinction on their menu for this. Crab cake was mostly filler, hardly any crab. Sauce was completely bland, brown butter was burned to soot. Nothing had a sear on it, and nothing was seasoned appropriately. Our waitress was so nice. Drinks were lovely and well made. But this plate was almost 60 dollars - huge letdown for the price.”
