Fireside Tavern

“We visited Fireside for our anniversary. I ordered the Salmon, my husband ordered one of the specials (Shrimp with vodka sauce & spaghetti).. we also each had a soup (french onion and the loaded baked potato which was also, the special of the day). Our server Aaron C. was polite and personable, he anticipated our needs with refills, prebussed the table promptly - coursed our dinner perfectly and gave us excellent recommendations and descriptions of the food. The french onion soup was on point. The soup arrived hot and was perfectly seasoned. My husband's shrimp was excellent, the vodka sauce reminded me of Benito's 2 in Little Italy (the best I've ever had). They removed the tails before service which is an attention to detail that we admire when serving Shrimp tossed in a saucy pasta dish. My salmon was cooked perfectly and the sides were as well. I am a spice fanatic, so while I would have liked a little more heat, the dish was perfectly seasoned (nice balance of sweet, tart and umami that didnt overpower the fish). We were stuffed by the time they offered us dessert but plan to return - because if the desserts are anything like the food - you can't go wrong. They brought us a little mini cheesecake mousse cup with chocolate ganache for our anniversary with cute little pink heart shaped sprinkles on the top. It was absolutely delightful. It is so refreshing to find a restaurant where attention to quality, plating, detail and service seems consistent across the board. I highly recommend this place - it was worth every penny.”

“A great find! I just moved into the area a week ago. I am still exploring local dinning and this one is going to remain on my list to return too often. I ordered the sirloin steak tonight. I forgot to mention I moved here from Texas. This steak had the perfect char and was cooked to perfection, at least to my standards. If you are looking for a nice relaxing location for dinner, I strongly suggest going here.”

It felt special enough for our anniversary celebration, yet it has a welcoming, relaxed vibe that would work just as well for a casual weekly dinner or a fun family outing. Our waitress was also attentive, helpful, and personable. Taste: Flavorful and Satisfying Every dish delivered on flavor. The kitchen clearly knows how to season their food well, making for a delicious meal that left us looking forward to our next visit. All the food was the appropriate temperature and was cooked as ordered”

“Had reservations for 10 on a busy Saturday night and my family and I were seated quickly. Our waitress was friendly and patient while getting our orders for appetizers, drinks, main courses and desserts. I had chicken parm and it was excellent. My wife had the fireside burger and it was very good as well. Highly recommend this place for a celebration (my Mom's 70th) or a date night. There is also picturesque lighting near a tree outside for taking pictures (which my family and I did).”

“We planned weekend away to Lancaster celebrate my 50th and on our way there we found this gem. The decor inside is not the greatest but food was amazing. We had the mussels which were so delicious and they give you a huge portion. For dinner I had crab cakes. They had no filler. Probably the best I have ever had. Highly recommend this place.”
