“We have been dining here at least once a year for 20 years. Most recently, March and April of 26. I don't know where all the negativity is coming from. We have always had attentive and friiendly waiters. We find this place to be nice and relaxing after being at the parks all day. It's casual and comfortable. The food has always been good to great. Prices are decent for a property located at a theme park. This review includes 2 dinners, 4 alcoholic drinks and tip. ($100 total).”

“We were honestly surprised to see some of the negative reviews for Jake’s American Bar at Loews Royal Pacific Resort, because we had a great experience. This was the first place my husband and I ate after checking in — we needed to take the edge off while waiting for family to arrive — and it delivered. The Asian glazed wings were fabulous. Yes, they’re a bit pricey, but we really enjoyed them and would absolutely order them again. The bartender was friendly, attentive, and made a genuinely delicious spicy margarita. I ended up returning later in the trip for the ribeye and a glass of red. Coming from NYC, I’m a bit spoiled when it comes to good steak and the value and quality in the city — but for a theme park hotel restaurant, this was a very good steak that hit the spot. I didn’t get to try them this time, but I was glad to see ribs on the menu and would definitely order those on a future stay. Overall, it’s a solid, convenient, and enjoyable option right at the hotel. We’d happily go back.”

“We have been ordering their food poolside. Very nice pizza. Delicious black bean quessadillas. Thanks to TikTok I discovered that their Preztels are a must-have in Orlando. Phenomenal!! So happy I tried them. Generous portions. Very nice mustard and cheese fondu dipping cups. Lovely service at the bar.”

“Service needs work. Let me clarify up front that the bar area if Jake's is 5 star all the way. They have some clever signature drinks and friendly well trained staff. The dinner area us another story. Food was average to good. Not bad, but not what I would expect from a premium hotel. The staff need some experienced to come in and reset the rhythm. Talking with friends near customer tables. Reading their apple watches. I didn't know what to make of the water glass cart. Our drinks were served without cocktail napkins. Not their best effort. “Ordered the crayfish chowder and and chicken noodle soup and it was way over salted. My wife got the fish and chips and the breading was soggy and greasy and lo and behold the fries were way too salty. I got the bbq brisket quesidilla and it was fine until I bit into a big fatty piece of brisket that should have never been served. With the many many restaurants close by at city walk or other hotels I would find any other place to eat than here.”
