“A cozy diner-like atmosphere in the heart of Chinatown. Corner Peach is a lovely restaurant that features homemade meals that have a nice zip, tang and variety. In particular, the chicken liver mousse on bread with sour cherry jam is a delight. The desserts are nice, but perhaps a touch over-sweet. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this casual eatery with upscale cooking.”

“My sister was visiting from out of town and wanted to take her for dinner. Had heard about Corner Peach so decided to try it. Omg, amazing!! The ambiance was very chill. I let the server know of my gluten intolerance and she went through the menu telling us how each dish could be modified to meet my needs. We started with the manchego with olives which was very nice and an order of fries which we both agreed were probably the best we've ever had. We then shared the salmon tartare and the celeriac. Even though we ordered too much food, we polished it all off because everything was incredible. It's obvious that the chef takes great care in designing their dishes. Unique mix of flavours- all of which hit home. Wish we'd had room for dessert because the gluten free chocolate mousse sounded divine - will have to save that for my next visit. Shout out to our very attentive server Jenn for going out of her way to help us enjoy our experience. Highly recommend!!”

The space itself is super cute and welcoming, with a vibe that makes it great for a casual lunch or dinner. They also run a seasonal menu, which keeps things fresh and exciting. The smash burger was the star — perfectly seared with crispy edges, layered with fried onions, and I added bacon for that extra kick. Every bite was juicy and full of flavor. The fries were some of the best I’ve had in the city: crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and well seasoned. The surprise highlight was their fridge chocolate cake — rich, decadent, and the perfect way to end the meal. Service was friendly, and the overall experience left me already planning my next visit. If you’re in Ottawa and craving a smash burger that delivers, this spot deserves to be on your list.”

“Came here with a friend for the first time for lunch in December. Vibe was cozy and laid-back. Food was decent (tartare would have been best served with chips or something to scoop it with; smash burger was yummy!) and our main waiter was friendly and welcoming. However, what was off-putting was how the dessert was served. My dessert order was handled by another waiter (so…not sure if this made a difference). I ordered an apple-cheese crumble-type pie, which sounded perfect for a cold day. But…it was served straight out of the fridge. Cold. Such a shame, because it totally affected my appreciation of the taste…”
