“We were in West Palm for my mom’s bachelorette party and reserved brunch on Sunday at the hotel and we had an amazing experience! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous! The staff is so friendly. The food was delicious! Marie was our server and she was so attentive and sweet! We had such a great time!”
“We were so excited to visit Swifty’s for Sunday brunch! Having made reservations several days in advance, we were ready for the full Palm Beach experience. It’s a beautiful spot by the pool that definitely delivers on style. The Highlights: • The Vibe: As a huge fan of the show Palm Royale, I absolutely loved the aesthetic here. It captures that iconic, glamorous vibe perfectly. It was a treat to see the hotel. • The Experience: It’s a "once-in-a-lifetime" type of atmosphere that feels very exclusive. Things to Consider: • The Layout: The tables are very, very close together right by the pool. We lucked out with the weather not being too hot, but it is a tight squeeze. • Service Hiccup: Toward the end of our meal, a server moved our umbrella to another table without asking. I ended up baking in the sun while waiting for the check and actually had to stand up to get some relief. • The Value: Be prepared to spend a significant amount of money. While the food is good, you are definitely paying a premium for the location and the "scene." Final Verdict: I’m glad we went for the experience—you only live once! However, because of the high price point for standard brunch fare and the service slip-up, I probably won't be a returning customer.”
“The perfect place for a boujee breakfast. The hotel and outdoors are stunning. Cute atmosphere and really amazing food and drink. I ordered the mushroom toast and couldn’t have been happier!”
“We had breakfast yesterday and the food was below our expectations, unfortunately. The place is beautiful, and one would think that, given the standard held in Palm Beach and the price point, the food would at least meet expectations. We ordered the Colony Breakfast and the Huevos Rancheros (which shouldn't be called Huevos Rancheros, as it doesn't meet the standard of what Huevos Rancheros actually is) and we were served avocados that showed black spots. On top of that, we ordered poached eggs, which ended up being boiled due to over cooked them. I could understand this at a regular restaurant, but not at a high-end hotel like The Colony.”
“When we first walked in we were completely taken away, the decor is adorable and the workers are well dressed. Definitely was very excited to eat here. Unfortunately it went down hill from there, the workers were not really engaging past the hostess. Almost like they knew the food wasn’t going to live up to our expectations. For example, I had to pay $24 extra to add chicken to my pasta and I was expecting it to be a chicken thigh or at least marinated. Nope, looks like pre cooked Costco chicken. Honestly I was embarrassed. My sister ordered the fish and chips and it looked good but was incredibly wet and flavorless. The only good dish was my boyfriend’s fish sandwich. Just for the price and the atmosphere I was expecting a more elevated dining experience. What we got was borderline hospital cafeteria food.”
