Pitfire Pizza - Pasadena is a Pizza restaurant in the Pasadena neighborhood of Pasadena.
“We came on a Sunday, and it was nearly empty. We were able to order right away, and our food came out pretty quickly. We ordered the Caesar salad, baked mac and cheese, and a pepperoni pizza. Everything was delicious, and we really enjoyed our meal.”
“On my first visit to Pitfire, it was a great experience. The staff was friendly and I got my order in quickly. At lunch the food also came out quickly, and was fresh and flavorful. I had the Margherita pizza and loved the addition of the Calabrian chilis to the traditional pie.”
“Great food and drinks. Nice and clean restaurant with friendly staff and fast-service. Con: Small parking lot and limited menu Pros: Delicious food and drinks. The adult Arnold Palmer was the best, the chicken pesto pizza, the chicken buffalo bites are a must-try.”
“Went here for dinner with family. You come in and order at the counter and then they bring you your food to your seats. The pizza is absolutely delicious! The serving sizes are quite large and can be easily shared. I would also recommend the mozzarella garlic knots. They are three to an order with marinara sauce and are delicious as well.”
“Definitely a busy place which has a more family targeted audience. You order at the counter (almost self service style) and then you are given a number and you search for a table to sit . This part of the experience was not what I was expecting as I am more familiar with sit down assigned tables . The business model is new to me . Alcohol is served at the bar and ordered during initial order placement . A shoutout to the lady taking out order , as you can opt for a larger pour of wine for an additional $5 . This is a great approach that other places should adapt . After finding a table we sat down and waited for food to arrive. In reality this business model does seem to cater more to a family based audience and where the staff is not assigned a particular table . This may increase speed and efficiency perhaps . Pizza is good , decent flavorful but nothing extraordinary. Brussels sprouts as an appetizer we also good though a bit oily . It does get a bit loud in the restaurant but it is also pretty busy and tables rotate fast . The tables get noisy and it’s hard to carry a conversation. Parking was not too hard as they have a lot in the back of the restaurant. While not my number one choice if I am ever back in the area , but certainly a good alternative.”
