“This places is a hidden gem! Very relaxed atmosphere, down to earth hospitality. Kid friendly. I couldn't help but noticed how clean this restaurant was! No dust or cobwebs anywhere so I complimented the manager on duty! Our waitress Janine was so nice and attentive to our every need even when we didn't realize we needed something! We will definitely be coming back whenever we're back in town!”
“The rigatoni is the kind of dish that reminds you why simple pasta done right always wins. The rigatoni is perfectly cooked—firm enough to hold the sauce but still tender—and the sauce clings to every ridge of the pasta. Rich, balanced, and full of flavor without being heavy. Each bite tastes fresh and intentional, like it came straight from a small kitchen that cares about details. The portion is generous, the ingredients taste high-quality, and the dish feels both comforting and elevated at the same time. It’s the type of pasta you keep thinking about after you leave. One important tip: **make reservations.** The place fills up quickly, and for good reason. The food, atmosphere, and overall experience make it worth planning ahead.”
“When I give a solid 4 star its probably most people's 5 star. Service was enjoyable, pleasant and efficient. Bar or table was same experience. Bar staff does engage in more conversation buy definitely leans toward regulars. Food servings are appropriate. Some.may think small but if you enjoy it, pace and converse you will ealk out satisfied. Its not 3 noodles well placed on a plate. Good liquor selection and when I was there the beer selection was enough and they will help suggest if you need that. The pasta dishes become cravings after you leave and you will want to return. Food was good servings, nice choices and all cooked incredibly well and balanced flavor. I remember the appetizers being delicious and the vibe is comfortable, casual but a little elevated. Perfect from friends or date night. There are some more intimate tables alone the wall with windows that looked great as well.”
“We came by here on a Thursday night with my friends and had A BLAST! If I'm being very honest, the appetizer and the desserts were what blew me away. The pasta was pretty good but I wouldn't say it was awe inspiring. The appetizers and dessert though? Simple and delicious and I'm still thinking about that butterscotch budino (which I did order without knowing what it was, it just sounded so good and I was right!!) But what really got me was the service - shout-out to Jon our server!!! He made excellent suggestions and helped save us when we accidentally messed up the decorative light on our table after we blinded ourselves a couple times trying to fix it! All the other staff were also so friendly and nice, and overall we felt so attended to it was lovely!! I would love to come back and try some of the simpler pastas to see how they compare, especially eyeing that cacio e pepe for next time”
“Incredible customer service at this cute pasta spot in queen village. We made reservations and had dinner on a Friday night by. There were a decent amount of open tables so reservations may not have been necessary. Our cocktails were very good, high quality!! I got the olive one (too sweet but I don’t like vermouth) and fiance got the mezcal one (which was INCREDIBLE). Apps- Caesar salad was well done, real anchovy. Meatballs were small and to me kind of bland. Sauce was good though. I got the rigatoni. When it came out, the pasta was too chewy.. not even al dente, more than that, just felt undercooked. I told the waiter and the manager helped us. They were extremely kind and understanding!!! They immediately refired my meal, and the pasta was much better after that. Unfortunately the chicken was overcooked because of that but it was much better. Fiancé got the risotto which he loved. They gave us a free dessert!!! They were SO nice and still made my experience very enjoyable. The cannolis were fresh and delicious! Maybe a bit too much chocolate sauce. If I come back it would be for cocktails and desserts!!!”
