“Superb seasonal menu! I was lucky enough to do happy hour but absolutely would come back anytime. I even got a dessert to eat there and one to go! Martini is super unique, very vegetal and lightly briney. But I also really appreciated the though that went into their non-alcoholic options. The Hot Hand with carrot, ginger, and maybe habanero was so tasty.”
“Went for dinner with my partner on a Saturday night over memorial weekend. The space is cute and quirky with a casual/comfortable vibe. Our server, Sabrina, did a fantastic job of getting our drinks to us in an expedient manner even though she was also doing her normal role as host. I love pairing wines with dishes, so this is a huge aspect for me. She also gave us a thorough breakdown of their three pasta selections when we were torn on deciding which one to choose and asked her which is her favorite. Every plate that we had looked fantastic and tasted even better. The wine selection BtG is limited to 3 each white and red with a sparkling, rose, and orange option as well, but covers all the major bases and worked excellently with the cuisine. We also had one cocktail, Fire & Smoke, which was quite tasty although I felt some of the ingredients listed were overshadowed by the shrub. Would still recommend if you're a fan of mezcal. Highly, highly recommend this charming gem and can't wait to return!”
“We had a lovely time at Kiddo! We went on a Thursday night with a reservation. The restaurant was quickly full! Our waitress Anna took very good care of us. She gave us great descriptions of the available dishes and beverages on the menu and specials. The spacing between first course and second course was perfect- we did not feel rushed at all to eat quickly or feel the table needed to be turned over quickly like some other restaurants in Philly. The food was delicious!!! Many of the items were vegetarian which was nice. We will certainly come back again!”
“The restaurant has a very cool but simple in vibe with walls full of well selected arts of both classic and modern taste. Waitress, hostess and entire staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The food has amazing farm to table vegetables and ingredients, executed in new and interesting ways and bursting with flavor.”
“Cute little date night spot with attentive service, the staff were very friendly! The food was pretty good but nothing spectacular, everything was a bit too salty overall. However, their cookie platter was so fun and delicious!”
