“Vegetarian perspective I literally took a bite into the eggplant haloumi sandwich and had to interrupt the person I was with to say how good that bite of sandwich was.... This place is so good! Started with baba ghanoush, which honestly oftentimes tastes pretty bland to me. Not this one. They clearly charred the eggplant and it had such a great smokey garlicy flavor. The sandwich obviously, was so insanely good. I ate the whole thing. It came with lentil soup that is also delicious! Highly recommend”

“Excellent food and quick service at the bar. The eggplant halloumi sandwich was tops, with firm but fully cooked eggplant with a nice skin, halloumi same, not melted goo, but cooked just enough on hearty sourdough with a nice char as well. Just enough aoili for flavor without making it heavy. I got the salad which has a tabbouleh flavor to it, good fresh tomatoes that weren't mealy. The Third (Red) Eye espresso chai drink was perfect, potent with flavor. Good matcha latte as well. I hope to return with a big table so we can share a bunch and try more.”

“We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere a lot! It was intensely busy during a weekend dinner reservation but the staff maintained pace and were very communicative. Food was cooked well with meats tender, vegetables roasted or seasoned beautifully. We wish they were a little more heavy handed with spices and some of the acidity turned up a notch but we’d order it all again. The lamb shank was a table highlight plus all of the appetizers, skip the potato salad dish it tasted too strongly of mayo and nothing else. Cocktail we received was okay.”

“I adore Renata’s!! The most perfect neighborhood spot. I live right nearby and it is one of my go to’s for happy hour, dinner, & brunch. I have never had a bad meal here & they have a great selection of food & drinks. The service is always great too, I really enjoy sitting at the bar! We came for brunch last weekend, and their new pancakes are actually HEAVENLY, so fluffy with crispy edges. And the breakfast burrito is massive & also delish. Will ofc be back!”

“We LOVE Renata’s - one of of the best local spots in my opinion. There’s almost no dish I don’t like; their cocktails are great, menu changes just often enough to keep it interesting but not so often that your favorites are gone before you can have them again. Today we had Salmon Eggs Benedict, Chicken Schwarma, and a couple of delicious coffee drinks. Our server Natalie paid extra attention to our 4-year old, which is something I appreciate too- they’re always great with kids.”
