“Absolutely LOVED our brunch at Meze on Sunday. The bottomless brunch deal is honestly one of the best values I’ve come across in a long time. Endless delicious cocktails (yes, INCLUDED) and the food was phenomenal — such a clever, elevated fusion of classic American brunch with rich Turkish flavors. Every dish felt thoughtful and seriously high quality. And can we talk about the service?? Our waiter Max was an absolute gem — attentive without being overbearing, insanely fast, super warm, and genuinely made the experience feel special. The atmosphere is also perfection: cozy, charming, intimate, elegant… somehow all at once. It’s the kind of place you instantly want to come back to before you’ve even left. Meze absolutely knocked it out of the park on every level. Food, drinks, service, ambiance — 10/10 across the board. Run, don’t walk.”
“This wasn't a spot I planned out, but I was drawn in from their menu posted on the street. Food and experience was great overall. The berog (or however you spell it depending on region and culture) was awesome and the closest to what we enjoy at home. Lamb shank spiced and cooked perfectly. I savored every bite and took my time to appreciate the work that went into it. Very attentive staff. Relaxed and not overbearing. Their menu notes GF, dairy, vegetarian options, which made it clear. The sever also asked if there were food allergies when I ordered. Bread and dipping oil was tasty and rounded out with complimentary Turkish tea. Service was well paced too. I had to catch a flight and spent an hour here without feeling it was rushed. Drinks were on point too. Many options available. Overall I would recommend and will be back next time I'm in DC. I rated the cost a bit lower because I chose different items that were higher. There is something for everyone.”
“My friends and I had an excellent outdoor brunch here! Our food was delicious and they gave us complimentary tea at the end! We were initially shocked at how empty the place was (we had brunch at 11am on a Saturday), but we walked by again later in the afternoon and saw that it was packed! You'll have an easier time getting in in the morning, I think. Recommended!”
“First time being here and it was an amazing experience. Service was very good and amazing atmosphere. We were on a time crunch with our dinner, however, we make our way back after for couple drinks - that’s how much we really liked it here. Highly recommend for their food and specially for their Turkish Coffee Espresso Martini.”
“The food, atmosphere, and service is excellent. The "famous" mojitos are a scam, made with synthetic-tasting lemonade on tap instead of any fresh lime. Not worth the price!”
