Sergio’s Sawpit is an Italian restaurant in the Port Chester neighborhood of Port Chester.
“If you’re looking for the best Italian restaurant in Westchester, look no further Sawpit. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but absolutely worth it for the quality & overall experience. The specials & entrée options are outstanding, with something for everyone, & the dessert menu is just as impressive. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared and full of authentic flavor. The service is top-notch attentive, professional, & welcoming from start to finish. The atmosphere is beautiful & vibrant, making it perfect for a special night out. They even offer valet parking, & even during the week the place is always packed, which tells you everything you need to know. Highly recommend!”
“This restaurant is a neighborhood gem!!! The most delicious food ever! Great service, atmosphere was amazing!!! Highly recommend and we are from Long Island.”
“Beautiful dining space with a lively, energetic crowd and attentive staff. There’s also an enclosed atrium area and private dining room. A nice touch to start was the complimentary antipasto with cheeses, olives, salami, and a basket of bread—the thin, crispy salted bread was especially addictive. We shared the fried zucchini flower blossoms stuffed with ricotta, which were good. For entrées, my friend had the Pollo Fino with chicken, shrimp, and vegetables in a white wine citrus sauce and really enjoyed it. I ordered the Pappardelle alla Boschiola with prosciutto and peas in a pink sauce—generous portion and very tasty (though I later realized the mushrooms listed on the menu seemed to be missing). We finished with the Napoleon dessert, which had great flavor, though the pastry layers were quite crunchy and a bit tricky to eat. Fun atmosphere, good food, and convenient valet parking.”
“Visited this establishment based on reviews & unfortunately can't say the experience was great. Was seated outside in what should be a waiting area where you can inhale cigarette smoke/car fumes each time the door was opened. Thank God for my Server(Dean) whom requested that those smoking right outside to move away. Ordered clams casino & requested that bacon be taken out as I practice lent & don't meat on Friday's and was still served the bacon which was hard to see but was realized after the 3rd clam. Then while eating some random person decided to casually have a phone call right in the area where we were seated bc it was too cold for him to be outside I guess. Attached pictures to provide truth to everything stated.”
“Went there twice, once for a family party hosted there and once for dinner with my wife. Both times I ordered a Guinness which they clearly don’t know how to pour. They should honestly just take Guinness off the menu or look up a YouTube video on how to pour. I actually sent it back and asked what other beers they have, there’s only like two other options so I chose a coors which they charged 11 bucks for. They also serve it in a wine glass which isn’t bad but just strange. The bar has no cocktail menu either. The owner needs to get the bar in better shape. Also the seating is incredibly packed, tables are basically on top of each other, everyone seems to be sat in the front until they finally have no more room and they open the back room for dining. Food tastes fine(it’s nothing special), but is definitely overpriced for the portion you get. I ordered chicken francese for over twenty bucks where you get a single cutlet and some small portions of veggies. This place is super overrated, save your money.”
