“Good restaurant, went there for the first time and was pleasantly impressed. Great flavours as they are using fresh and locally harvested produce. The food was flavorful and the kids loved it too. Was here to celebrate Fathers day and the restaurant was almost full, seemed to be very popular, even with the crowd the staff was able to communicate clearly and made sure the guests were not left waiting for long.. We ordered couple of things for the table and those were flavorful. Added names and photos with the review.”

“Agricola Eatery (Princeton, NJ) If you are looking for a high-quality, farm-to-table dining experience in the heart of Princeton, Agricola is a fantastic choice. I visited on a weeknight for dinner and had a truly pleasant experience from start to finish. The Food & Drinks The focus here is clearly on fresh, seasonal ingredients. Everything we ordered tasted incredibly fresh and well-prepared, and the drinks were equally impressive. It is the kind of place where you can really taste the quality of the ingredients in every dish. I’m already looking forward to going back! The Atmosphere & Layout The restaurant has a beautiful, modern-yet-rustic layout with both upstairs and downstairs seating. It feels sophisticated but welcoming. Since we went on a weeknight, we didn't have to wait long at all, though I’d imagine it gets quite busy on the weekends. Location & Parking The location on Witherspoon Street is perfect—it’s right in the middle of downtown, steps away from Palmer Square, the library, and Princeton University. • Parking Tip: While street parking in downtown Princeton can be a tiny bit of a challenge, it is much easier to navigate than a city like Philly or NYC. If you can't find a spot on the street, the municipal garages are very fair and convenient. Final Verdict: A beautiful setting with delicious, fresh food. It’s a great spot for a nice dinner while exploring everything downtown Princeton has to offer.”

“A great evening comes down to good food, a lively and vibrant atmosphere, and wonderful company. The service at Agricola was generally good, but they did miss our special occasion. They didn’t bring out a candle with the dessert we ordered, which was a bit disappointing. I confirmed this with the manager , and he apologized, suggesting their waiter might have missed it. However, it was a noticeable oversight, especially since i specifically mentioned it when making the reservation . After the meal, our family’s spirits were a bit down, but we still sang and celebrated without the candle. Now, to the food … We had a feast of appetizers on our table… Bang Bang cauliflower had a delightful mix of sweet and sour flavors. The crispy calamari was a great match with pickled veggies and arugula basil aioli. The hummus pita board was a table favorite, with warm grilled pita, a small portion of hummus, and fresh, crisp veggies. The harvest salad was extra special, with crisp lettuce, feta cheese, walnuts, poached and fresh sliced pears , cucumber, and watermelon radish, all drizzled with rose vinaigrette. We ordered the salmon , Halibut & Branzino for entrees which were all cooked to perfection, served with flavorful sides. For dessert, we had a warm brownie with ice cream and the peanut butter cup. The brownie was our favorite and it disappeared in seconds. The peanut butter cup had a dense donut texture with candied peanuts. Nothing to rave about ! We loved the evening at Agricola, but their lack of attention to detail and poor communication between the front desk and wait staff dampened our experience, making it a bit of a letdown.”

“Great local farm-to-table restaurant in a beautiful spot near Palmer Square. The atmosphere is lovely, and I appreciated the clearly marked vegan and gluten-free options on the menu. Flavor-wise, most dishes were good, especially the pea ravioli and the bang bang cauliflower. That said, the experience felt pretty average overall for the price point. Portions were on the smaller side, and a few dishes missed the mark. The marinated beet salad barely had any beets, which was disappointing, and the truffle fries came out soft and mushy rather than crispy. The salmon was decent but came with an overwhelming amount of spinach. Service also left a bit to be desired. The hosts were polite and welcoming, but our server seemed distracted and inattentive even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time. Overall, there are definitely some strong dishes here and the setting is nice, but between the portion sizes, inconsistent execution, and mediocre service, it didn’t fully live up to expectations.”

“The food was great! The wait time however was astronomical. We did have a staff change but our table was forgotten for almost an hour. The food was good, for appetizers the calamari are amazing. My main course favorite was the branzino and noodles for the current season in May 2026. You can add protein to the pizza as FYI so that was good.”
