The Meeting House is an American restaurant in the Princeton neighborhood of Princeton.
“In town on business and had a great experience. Food was perfectly cooked and presented well. If you ever see a fried green tomato (anything) on a menu, it's wise to get it. This was no exception and adding burrata makes it even better. I chose the braised short rib as I was eating late and would be an easier meal for the kitchen (as that is typically cooked earlier and reheated, impossible to cook on demand 😜) and it was fantastic. Got a light/fresh cocktail as it's what I was in the mood for but a nice glass of red would be better paired of course and they had great offerings. Definitely would go back and unfortunately I went the last night I was in town otherwise I would have gone multiple times.”
“I hosted an intimate engagement party at The Meeting House and couldn’t have chosen a better venue. The space was warm, beautiful, and perfect for celebrating with close family and friends. The food and drinks were excellent — everything felt elevated but still approachable — and the cocktails were a big hit with our guests. The staff was attentive, organized, and made the entire evening feel effortless, which allowed us to truly enjoy the celebration without worrying about logistics. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and memorable. Our event planner, Jeremy was extremely professional, quick to respond and accommodating to every one of our needs. Highly recommend The Meeting House for private events and special occasions — it was the perfect setting for such an important moment in our lives.”
“We celebrated my daughter’s baptism here and everything went perfect. The service was excellent and the food tasted amazing. We have had dinners multiple times here however this is the first time we did a private event. What stood out to me the most was how honest and caring the staff was. They offered us to take bottles of wine at the end because we didn’t meet the minimum. Any other location would not have cared. Definitely recommend to host your next event here or just go for a delicious dinner.”
“My friends and I got here when it opened today at 10am -- no reservation and we were sat immediately. Cute place and decor. They have the main floor with a separate section that must be for large groups. Their restrooms are downstairs which also has space for what must be private dining or perhaps open on nights where it's busier. I got the huevos rancheros - a bit not traditional because they use cannellini beans and tortilla strips. I think I prefer the more traditional with guacamole, black beans and a tortilla so I’d order something different next time but still tasty! There is a parking garage behind the restaurant for a fee but I was able to find street parking easily on Birch—just across the street.”
“I’ve been here for brunch two times. The first time I got the brioche French toast and the rosemary potatoes, and it was not good. The second time I got the chicken and pancakes, and it was absolutely amazing, which is high praise coming from me because I generally prefer waffles. The atmosphere is just alright, the crowd can be a little bit standoffish.”
