Little Sister is a Puerto Rican restaurant in the Providence neighborhood of Providence.
“Best brunch I’ve had in a while! The food is delicious, great quality, and very flavorful. Drinks are fresh and unique. The atmosphere was amazing from the decorations to the very kind staff. Overall wonderful experience, highly recommend!”
“Little Sister should be called Big Sister by the way it sets a Michelin level standard of service, warm embrace and shows the highest forms of love to all of their new patrons, natives and transplants. Melani, a decorated celebrity chef was all but humble in person and lets her skills do all bragging and boasting in the kitchen. Andraea had such a warm welcoming aura and love for the establishment that we walked in strangers and left BFF’s. Together, Melani and Andraea are a dynamic duo; a culinary Batman and Robin of sorts. The restaurant’s Puerto Rican inspired dishes sold us immediately. We ordered the Shaksouka and Chicken & Waffles. Both dishes were made exceptionally well. Who doesn’t love a Shaksouka with fried plaintain crostinis and a Tamarind glazed boneless wing with a plaintain waffle?! Little Sister definitely knows what they are doing as they stand out amongst numerous brunch spots on the island. We will definitely be back for any given reason to see our new Little Sister fam!”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was my first visit to Little Sister, and it definitely won’t be the last! A five-star experience from beginning to end. Delicious Puerto Rican specialties reimagined for brunch, amazing service (shout out to Andraea!), and a cool vibe. As a vegetarian, I was delighted to see many veggie-friendly 🌱 dishes on the menu! I had the Mofongo Benedict (with eggs poached well, by request), a guava quesito pastry, and the passion fruit punch. 😍 My tastebuds are still thanking me! TIP: If you want to guarantee a seat, make sure to make a reservation ahead of time. It gets pretty busy, and trust me, you do not want to miss out on this delicious food!”
“Good vibes! A small space with a big personality. Been here a few times and definitely recommend. There’s some elegance to the food. I would say the food is packed with flavor. Recommended: the potato skillet, any pastry cuz it’s very tasty ! Recently went out of my element and tried the shrimp and coconut grits and wow! I mean , it’s a quaint little spot with bold flavors and very friendly staff! I definitely recommend!”
“The food was good! Pretty salty but it may have been just a one off thing. Will definitely return to try again. The brunch sangria was amazing, horchata latte was delicious, and the prix fixe was a great deal to do with a group to taste many items they offer. The ambiance was my favorite part of the experience!”
