“Steak was great and the drinks were just as good. Jake, our server, was funny, attentive, and gave awesome recommendations, including great drinks. One nice thing: if you want to split a meal, you can pay a bit extra to get your own soup or salad, your own proper portion of the side, and in our case, the steak cut in half. It kind of ends up being a lot of food, so perfect if you’re a little hungry but still want to share. On the pricier side, but it makes a great dinner spot if you’re looking for something a bit upscale. *Update: giving this place the 5 stars it deserves. We’ve gone back a few more times and have had extremely pleasant experiences. Appetizers and drinks have been fantastic. Definitely get the steamer clams and or the fried calamari.”
“We went with friends for a little celebration for happy hour this weekend, and had a great experience! It felt like discovering a hidden gem! The server was personable and on top of things, but not at all bothersome. Food was great. Atmosphere in there was AMAZING. Looked perfect for a romantic date night! Didn't know Redding had a place like that, and loved it. Taking off a star on food because: 1. I did hope to get a condiment for my fries and he didn't come back in time for it. I've had the best experience when serves bringing out fries/meals ask if we want a condiment other than ketchup, and even going the extra mile and offering 3-4 possible options & would recommend this approach. 2. The cheese on their cheeseburger tasted like the absolute cheapest brand of fake cheese slices. The rest of the burger was amazing, but the fake cheese taste really threw me off, especially in the bites with more of it. From what I know, you can't request changes on happy hour items- would highly recommend using real cheese to begin with.”
“The food is fantastic, the price for the quality is there for sure. The drinks are just as good as the food. The steak was cooked perfectly, melted in the mouth. I also tried the oyster shooter appetizer, it could have used a smokey flavor mixed in besides the Sriracha in my opinion, but it wasn't bad. Great flavor options here and I will come back to try more in the future.”
“The atmosphere is nice, the food is a great quality. I had the Filet / Baked P / brussel sprouts. The steak was great. The potato was just as good. The brussel sprouts were not all that. Service was great. My waiter Eric - stayed on top of things, and when ever he was busy the hostess would step in and clear plates or refresh my drink. Overall a great experience and I'll return when I'm in the area again”
“The food was okay overall. The French onion soup was delightful and easily the highlight of the meal. The steak was a great cut and cooked well; however, the salt level was overwhelming—borderline salt lick territory. The Alfredo was similarly far too salty. The grilled salad was a complete disaster, while the Caesar was just okay. On the bright side, the service was excellent and attentive.”
