“Had an amazing time at the restaurant last night highly recommend. The atmosphere was very premium and cozy! I was a little early for my reservation, so I sat at the bar and had an amazing drink- Definitely try the blood feather. Then our waiter gave us a great table And the food was absolutely fantastic. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. Elliott is one of the best servers I’ve met as of late! Recommend to try the carrots for app and seafood pasta for entre.”
“Interesting concept. Bread and butter was great ; loved the strawberry butter. The gnocci tasted like sweet breads and were lovely. Great burger. Go!”
“Kudos to Chef Joe and the team for a truly unique experience that you’d expect to get in NYC or DC, not in Richmond. I brought my wife for the 4 course tasting menu for her birthday. The food was fresh, creative and most important of all, delicious. I appreciated they were able to accommodate a vegetarian tasting menu that was still filling and satisfying. I really enjoyed the intentionality of Chef Joe coming out and explaining each dish to us. While this is clearly a high end place, the food is approachable and delicious. You can feel the passion and love in it! Front of house was great and the overall experience was just awesome. My wife said it felt like she was having dinner in an art gallery! We will absolutely be back.”
“There are a lot of fine dining restaurants in Richmond and this one unfortunately is not a stand out. We had the bread and butter (fine but nothing special), the cauliflower app (pretty good), the short rib in a curry sauce with rice and kimchi (good but I felt like I could make the same thing at home very easily) and the duck special which was probably the worst duck I’ve had in a while. The dessert was delicious!! Our server was amazing! Drinks were fine.”
“Really fantastic duck breast! Great texture as well. Beef tartar was tasty, as was the she crab soup. The butter for the bread was so light and fluffy, I think it was my second favorite dish of the evening. The Parisian gnocchi was a bit dry however, and the drinks were okay. Service was very efficient and the atmosphere was quiet and intimate, which was lovely. Street parking nearby was easy.”
