The Richmond is an American restaurant in the Rochester neighborhood of Rochester.
“Came here on a Sunday night and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was calm even though it was busy, both the bartenders were very nice and made you feel at home! The food was out of this world, best flavor for garlic parm wings I've ever had. The pizza reminds me of New Haven style which is the best, and the drinks were beautiful! Will definitely be coming back, the place is beautiful!”
“I stumbled across a place called The Richmond by Mortalis Brewing, and holy crap, it was good. Not only was the beer fantastic, but the burger was out-of-this-world good. I usually don’t take the time to write about a burger place, but this one is absolutely worth visiting if you like burgers. The burger had a great crust, was seasoned really well, and somehow was still a little pink and super juicy for a smash burger. Definitely one of the better burgers I’ve had in a while.”
“Their smoothie beer was amazing. Their pizza was ok needed more cheese. The bartender was good. Overall I would definitely come back for just the beer alone. Had a smash burger it was awesome”
“Pictured (hot wings and Greek fries). The food here is delicious. Wings are top tier for Rochester. We’ve also had the pizza here before which is very good with high quality ingredients. **Note: This review is from when DoughBoyz were still running the kitchen. Have not been back since to check out the new food menu.”
“We had a 6:00 PM reservation for three on Saturday, March 21st and were seated upstairs. At the time, there was only one other table occupied, and while a few more parties arrived later, it never felt particularly busy. There appeared to be a single server/bartender managing the upstairs area, with additional staff bringing food up from downstairs. We started with drinks and an order of vegan ranch potatoes, which were actually quite good. For our mains, two of us ordered smash burgers and one ordered a pizza. The pizza arrived first, but unfortunately the burgers didn’t come out until well after the pizza had been completely finished and cleared. That timing alone made for a pretty awkward dining experience. As for the food itself, the burgers were underwhelming. The double smash with bacon was average at best, and the single smash was noticeably overcooked and dry. To their credit, the staff did remove that item from the bill when our guest chose not to finish it. Service was polite, but slow and inattentive at times. Our drinks were empty for over 30 minutes before we were checked on again, and that was near the end of the meal. Overall, the experience didn’t match the expectations set by the restaurant’s online presence and reviews. With so many great dining options in the area, this isn’t a place we plan to return to.”
