“Came here on a busy Friday night, but was able to grab a table right away. I tried the Miso Shrimp Carbonara. I enjoyed the creaminess and the al dente texture of the pasta. The savory pancetta went really with umami flavor of miso. The price was reasonable as well for the portion size.”

“Asher was a great host for us tonight! We are big fans of Copper Onion and decided to give Copper Common a try and we were not disappointed! I will say Onion has more impressive food, but the cocktails here are great! Asher pitched us the cocktails and wine off the specials menu, and both were fantastic! Great service and great drinks!”

“I stopped by Copper Common and grabbed a seat at the bar, which turned out to be a great choice. I started with a Hazy IPA and asked the bartender for recommendations—definitely the right move. They suggested the lamb chops and kale salad. The lamb chops were outstanding—easily some of the best I’ve had. They came with two different sauces, both of which complemented the meat perfectly. Tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. Unfortunately, the kale salad didn’t hit the same mark. It was overly salty to the point where I could only manage a bite or two. That said, the service was excellent—the waitress noticed and kindly removed it from the bill without any hassle. I ended up ordering the burger instead, which was very good. It leaned a bit on the salty side as well, but still enjoyable overall. Despite a couple of misses, the lamb chops alone are worth coming back for—and I definitely will.”

“This is a casual restaurant close to the convention center with modern American fare. If you like craft cocktails, this is the place for you. They have a super interesting list of their own, very creative, cocktails. One example: the buttered bee's knees. It is made with the locally made Beehive barrel-aged gin, butter (yes), honey, and lemon. This version is better than any classic bee's knees cocktail I have ever had. The others on the list are equally creative and excellent! And of course, they do classic cocktails as well. We shared two starters: the smashed potatoes with fry dip and the smoked trout dip topped with pastrami flavor spices. The dip itself was very good, but to my taste the topping of spices overwhelmed the fish. The smashed potatoes were super- crispy, very hot, and nice. The dipping sauce was okay but not my favorite taste profile. I had the lamb merguez meatballs served with labneh and flatbread. They had a lovely taste, but were a bit dense and heavy. The salmon, however, was exquisite. Perfectly cooked, and the couscous and ramp habanero cream were great with it. The bucatini was also very good. We had the rhubarb cobbler, topped with their house made vanilla soft serve, which was delicious. The blondie sundae also was declared yummy. All in all, we had a lovely meal and great service in a casual relaxed restaurant. I recommend this place. Its location is great, being so close to the convention center.”

“Good food and good service. While their CC Burger won’t win any awards, it is a very solid cheeseburger. Wednesday is half-priced burger night, so $6 instead of $12. Their Number Eleven cocktail is very good and worth a try. I’ll have to come back and try more of their menu.”
