“Amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, everything we ordered was fresh and full of flavor. The atmosphere was welcoming and enjoyable. A special thank you to our server, who was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Great service and great food — we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend! And big plus to David our server”
“DELICIOUS food across the board, and loved the open kitchen design choice. Highly recommend their lattes as well!! Unexpectedly got a vanilla latte to go, and it beat any top notch coffee I’ve had. Only complaint is that the homemade sodas were a bit expensive for what they were ($9 for a drink that was mostly ice and really lacked any flavor)”
“Had a lovely evening here. Staff was super sweet and attentive. The garlic knot was unlike anything I’ve ever tried and I will be thinking about it for a very long time. Would highly recommend the lemon pasta and apple dessert. The housemade sodas were also a unique option in lieu of a cocktail/mocktail. Looking forward to returning and major compliments to the chef de cuisine!”
“We sat at a backyard patio table for a Saturday dinner, which is actually a big reason I’m knocking some points off this review. The setup is just tough. You have metal tables and chairs, loud speakers blasting music that echoes everywhere, and when you add the loud crowds and kids dropping utensils, the whole environment gets pretty unpleasant. We ordered a solid spread to get a good read on the kitchen: the garlic knots, a croissant, the hanger steak, the peach and hot honey pizza, and the wood-fired vanilla bean pound cake for dessert. The main takeaway is that while the execution and cooking techniques are good, the food lacks flavor. When I dine out, I'm looking for depth and flavors that aren't easily replicated at home, and I didn't find that here. Everything just needed more depth and a bit more salt to stand out. To be fair, the pizza dough itself is incredibly well prepped. It is easily as good as Pizzeria Sei, which is the best pizza in LA, period. It just suffers from that same lack of flavor once you bite into it. On a minor note, I noticed a 4% employee health insurance surcharge on the final bill. I probably missed the warning on the menu somewhere, so oh well. Overall, it’s a fine neighborhood spot, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.”
“Lovely spot. Found parking easily. Walked in without reservation, luckily found a spot with just a little wait. Intimate place, good for special occasions. Few veg options. Quantity of pasta is small for the price. Dessert was interesting! Love the open kitchen concept.”
